Seems like a great spot for the sounder mission where you need 7 greater amberjack and 7 japanese amberjack. Thanks for the content, always makes my day when ever i have trouble finding some fish species, there is usualy a video from you to help out. PS: was using the single hook pilker 60g #4/0 and got bite after bite of amberjack on that spot at the start of peak time, can say its a great amberjack spot during day fishing hours.
I've noticed if that instead of pulling all the way up when the fish runs, just pulling up a little can get them to stop. Almost like a quick jerk on a dog's leash if they try to run. Haven't tested that on a marlin yet to see if it will make run towards you yet. Those are bad enough as it is. I just let those run until they get tired. 😂
Hey buddy. Not sure if it's faster, but I swing my rod from side to side every 2-3 seconds, along with the fish' movements. I'm not using RMB, this just seems to give the fish more line. Also, crankbaits seem to do really well. I had some small ones on me (up to 4/0), need to test with bigger ones.
If you've been using both mouse buttons at the same time, don't. I'm not sure if it's a bug or they intentionally did it to keep people from just holding down both But if the fish is taking line while you try to pull up (RMB) AND reel in (LMB), it will almost feed line out. It could be based on the braking system and be a real life thing. I'm not familiar with gear that heavy irl. Just pull up when it is taking line. When it stops, reel in and lower the rod.
With smaller fish like pike, you can make the fight easier by not setting the hook while fishing with spinning or casting gear. Instead of setting the hook, just move the rod left and right, which will reduce the tension on the equipment. I don't know if this works the same way on the new map because I don't have access to it yet, but I would be happy if you could check it.
Just a tip, if you want to make the fight easy, aim the rod down, then you wanna look left then right fast until you catch the fish, that way you won't have a long fight :)
I got the Greater Amberjack down on the bucktail mission with the Gold/Black/White 50g #6/0 bucktail by the rocky islands close to Torii No Ri spawn. [1402, 569]
Hi KpShamino, thanks for the video! i'm enjoying the game (playing since 2 weeks) and want to buy a DLC, which DLC do you recommend ? (considering, price / xp / fun ^^) Thanks!
579.09,-1623.37 and 75985,-1567.25 .... Another two Unique Giant Trevally (bottom rods obviously). Maybe get a few more spots and try for the night rotation 😉.

And yes, the 12-30 ft crankbaits seem to do well so far. Need to test some of the bigger ones.
Kp thank you so much for everything you do
I'm so mad that I'm going to buy that dang boat. 😂 Thanks for your videos.
Typical content creator, push people to stuff they don't want to play.I'm very sorry ;)

When you get a uni do you fast forward the time or only when the fish finder dies
When the bites and fish finder dies
Thanks
Are you doing research for the better xp method they talked about? I’ve tried everything I don’t think the method they mentioned is even in the game
Indeed i think the same, the xp is to low and the fish fight are to long.I'm always do research to optimize the xp farm.
@@KpShamino they are doing an ocean update improvement shutdown I wonder if they are improving xp
Yes i'm hoping the same.Lets see that we got patch notes.
I don’t understand why people struggle with the hard fight. I caught 200kg marlin and bluefin on a 52kg setup
Its just the time it takes thats is the problem, not landing the fish.
whats your accent, just curious
How do you catch the Japanese anchovy
spawn sack hook 6 and trow from shore.
@@KpShamino got it THEY are super annoying to catch
Hey kp, can I join your club on fishing planet?
Didn't take ya long KP 😎
