Lol the rat at 2:36 may have survived but I bet he's now a deaf rat.😄😄. Another great video. Keep them coming please. Looking forward to the next one. 👍👍
😂😂 I never thought of that but I bet his sensitive ears are ringing!! 😂 Love it. Cheers for watching. There's more coming. Thanks for coming by again! 👍
Cheers Martin! Thanks for watching - much appreciated. Bitcast is in beta, I'm still working on it so I appreciate you signing up. Feel free to post and share content on there. 👍👍
Good stuff again Jonny. Gone very quiet for a while as usual with rats my end, guess you'll be the same. Squirrels seem a bit shy also. I will check out yor bitcast stuff later.. Pete
Het Pete - good to see your name pop up again. The rats at the arable farm are greedy little sods and are piling in still. Tonight I shot about 8 in a pile as they kept coming in to feed. Great night. Cheers for watching mate. Much appreciated!!
Hey what fun! Many years ago I used to go ratting late at night here in India to spots where people would dump garbage. I had no fancy sights. Just plain old open sights. In those days there used to be these rag pickers lurking around who would wait and run to pick up the dead rats which they would get a few rupees a piece for from the government.
I remember those days - open sights, break barrel - the tech has changed so much! 😂 Rubbish tips are amazing places for rats shoots! Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
Do you like the ATN over the NV100 ?? Was thinking about getting the ATN any problems with it ?? How do you like it ?? Miss your videos, more please 👍🏻
Hi Robert! Thanks for watching. ATN dies have issues - despite what they may tell you - with the scope freezing at times. When it happens, I reboot it and it's sorted. The ATN gear in my view is absolutely amazing. Wouldn't change it.
Great to see you back on the tube. Why switch to .177? Is it that you are shooting non FAC? That I could understand for the slightly flatter trajectory.
Cheers Nitro! Nice to see your name again! My Impact is non-FAC. I've got a slot for a .25 FAC but for sub 12, I much prefer the .177. Flatter, faster and just as lethal.
@@arpc About all I use now are my 25 and 30 cals. I have taken some seriously large critters at long range with them, especially my Impact in 30. Took a raccoon not too long ago at a lazer ranged 139.7 yards and another at 78. The second one was a single shot to the neck. DRT! Used my Odepro KL52 Plus on that second one as it was around 1 AM. :-)
Damned good shooting....I am impressed! I am wondering, though...how much of a real effect does it have on the rat population? What I mean is, would poisons be more effective (although not nearly as fun) or is the air rifle a solid choice for their control? I need an excuse to tell the wife so I can buy an air rifle.
Thank you! It actually makes a big impact. Some nights I can shoot 30. A few days later, another 20. You can get very large numbers if you plan the evening out. Poisons are dangerous - yes they kill the rats until they wise up and stop taking the bait but they also kill wild birds that eat the poisoned rats. Get an air rifle... safe, accurate, targeted and efficient! 😉 👍
The place is clean, there just spilled feed as it's a large operation. The rats only need a small spillage and they're into it. You're right though. Absolutely.
lost count but i'd say 30 to 32! don't blame you on 177 i think it's a flatter shooting pellet with less flight time! definitely easier to get over here too you've got to look to a 22 pellet gun and especially ammo for it! might be because of 22 long rifle being so available compared to where you are!
This is the first Rat vid seen where the rats are like WTF my buddies are dropping better GTFO I had no clue they realized that if they hang around they are going down. Hard to believe this kind of intelligence from a Rat
1. I disagree. No chatter or interaction bores me and I switch off. 2. I don't actually do this for the subs. I don't live for likes. This is my inner geek and shooter meeting up. Thanks for watching though. I appreciate it.

Crackin video mate. I need to get out and get another rat perm as my last one they owner has poisoned the last few after I took loads out.

Top notch upload from Sydney Australia we need our politician shot like the rats lol
What air gun is this?
Any budget pcp air rifles you recommend for rats ? Thanks
Good to see you back even the the church bells 🔔 are ringing keep up the good work
Cheers mate. The bells seemed to add a deathly tone to the dying rats! 😂 They were quite relaxing during the shoot actually.
