Thx for avenging my sub 5% loss to Baba on SQ earlier today. I was too pissed to play her again, so this was great.
I also got murked by the new combo move on c3 boss on Beowulf, just got too wowed by the shiny lights to play properly. Looks really cool, and is definitely challenging to survive.

In most of his runs he picks "not meta" stuff to experiment with. Holy grail is quite the weak legendary unless you are on co op.
Yeah holy grail is pretty useful in co-op but not as important in solo nightmare. Now in 5 negative modifier runs, it's usefulness skyrockets when enemies can bring your health down so quickly and it takes a lot longer to get back to full

ace with this build wouldnt you rather take a little damage strategically in boss fights (since you know the moveset its not as risky, and youre good at dodging) to up your armour and damage numbers?
That's a good point. If you can get perma-shield and nothing to "accidentally" heal the damage back up like in this run, surely that's worth doing
@@mistergoose69 full stack of fairy dust would've been amazing for this sort of playstyle. You'll never die and get quite a lot of damage
Yo that's kinda crazy, get the dragon hide stack with the fairy dust stack to have an insane shield over low health with a crazy amount of armor. I'm going to focus this for an experimental video cause this sounds like it could be awesome
Since you've been trying out other roguelikes, you should look into Heroes of Hammerwatch II that just came out

Haha was hoping to do all of that quicker than I did and level up some talents before the chapter 3 boss but it all took too long
