  • The almond biscuits from Prato are called either biscotti or cantucci.
    Bis-cotto, literally in Italian cooked again, reveals how it is actually made: it is baked twice. They are a favourite sweet treat to end a meal, either on their own or dunked in a little glass of vinsanto.

    There were only 7 ingredients in this recipe, but only six ingredients were added, when the baking powder was either left out and forgotten, or the camera man skipped it. Maybe, it's a choice for baking powder to be added if desired.

      I added the baking powder as I've seen it in other recipes. It came out amazing
