Thank you for being a bus driver and transit enthusiast as well Bus Driver Life. Please do more videos like this whenever you travel again soon. I also love listening to the transmission on buses to be honest with you.
Lymmo is Lynx's BRT route. It was the first BRT in the nation when it started in 1997. They used CNG buses when it started, then it evolved to electric buses.
@@BusDriverLifeWhen I first drove one a passenger refused to hold on and told me to go. I said we are not moving unless you sit down or hang on a hand rail. If I launch this bus you will land on your Booty (cannot use the real words).
Lynx bus is my favorite transit bus I started riding the lynx bus last 2015, then I moved to missouri 2 years ago and I still riding the lynx bus during my vacation and this year was four.
I love the bus fleet in Orlando because of the colors. Thank you very much Mr. Keywan because i appreciate public transportation since i was a kid. I love New Flyer Industries, Novas and Gilligs.
I love Gilligs as well. I also went to Jacksonville, FL to ride on their JTA Gillig BRT buses. I also ride on Gillig buses in different states but my bus fleet in Chicago only have New Flyers and Novas. We also order the 8500 Series Nova LFS buses at my bus garage.
I do like riding on the JTA Gilligs especially the recent ones (2019-present BRTs), but I hope that JTA will add New Flyer X60’s to their fleet in the near future and add more routes in Jacksonville so that they can compete with other cities in Florida.
The 42 next to you goes directly to the Convention Center, but it is nice of you that went to Central Station to do some more footage. At least the 38 you took is an express. Regardless, it’s a sprawling city that makes it takes a long time to get around. The buses are really nice but very few visitors use them. I am glad you had a great time riding. Great footage of APTA Expo!
LYMMO is the brand name for Lynx Routes 60-62 they are the free Downtown Buses. The idea is you Park your car and ride through downtown or connect from SunRail to them they have the Orange that runs fully BRT. The Grapefruit and Lime that are partially BRT and run a little outside the Downtown Core such as to Lake Eola, Amway, Paramore, North Quarter etc, etc.
@@wturner777 They are partially BRT. But they all are 100 percent free and Lynx Routes. They run from Lynx Operations Center but from my understanding have their own division because the city makes the regular drivers wear shirts and ties.
@@BusDriverLife You are welcome sir. Very much Lynx indeed. You don't start seeing different agencies for about another 30 miles in any direction. (Excluding I-Ride and Disney of course but those are very different discussions)
bus hub looks really nice in Orlando. Also - it's weird to me that bus manufacturers put their products up on jacks so you can't walk through them. Wouldn't they want to show the interiors off too?
What would really help the transit system in Orlando metro would be if most of the Lynx buses focused more on east west routes with Sunrail as the center stop.
No. The pass uses your phone's camera. You have to show us (Lynx driver) the pass. We have to see ourselves to know if it's valid or is it some nonsense screen shot you're using.
I love the pink bus it's so pretty. I like learning about different places and their bus routes since I ride the bus myself. You actually did a video on the buses here in London Ontario which I found cool. 😊
You and Malcolm Jamal-Warner do favor. That's not a bad thing... Who knows... You like video and entertainment. You could use this to your advantage. He might want to meet you. Godfrey host a show called Celebrity Look alikes. You should submit your picture. The winner get $1,000. Not bad for a quick picture. Plus it could help promote your channel... IJS..

Found this video searching for Orlando transit information. Im going watch the full series.
That’s awesome!! Thank you for watching!!

Cool busses. I'm jealous we're in Chicago with crappy falling apart busses. They're so old it's embarassing.
Lynx Bus Operator Here! Thanks For The Love You Showed In The Video. I Follow You On Tik Tok As Well. Keep Bringing Us The Content Love To See It.
Hey! You all have some good drivers out there! I enjoyed using the Lynx system! Thanks for following!
I'm a Lynx driver. Thanks for riding!!
Cool! Y’all have some good drivers out there!
Nifty train. Aint heard that word in years. I got my B CDL from a nifty truck driving school... LoL
Damn look at that Transit Center. It’s like an airport for buses 😂
The Lynx Central Station is a bus hub that was intended to double as a railroad station, and finally did once SunRail became operational in 2014.
Lynx bus is my favorite transit bus I started riding the lynx bus last 2015, then I moved to missouri 2 years ago and I still riding the lynx bus during my vacation and this year was four.
Cool to see how others view our city from the outside.
Especially from bigger cities.

Lymmo is a free bus service around the downtown area. Some who take the train to work would connect on a Lymmo to get to their destination.
I love videos like this. Thank you Keywan.
You’re welcome!!
I used to live in Orlando and would ride the Lynx bus everyday until I got a car. 🥰 Thank you for this video! 👍🏽💯

I was thinking the same thing, but the 42 is a long route, and it gets super crowded, especially during the hours when school lets out.
Thank you K.R. for sharing this. Some people travel for business, others for bussy-ness.
You’re welcome!!
Bussy??? lol

Thanks Bus Driver for sharing All The excitement , Hope U had a nice time there. Are all the buses different colors in Florida?,😊
Thanks Mom. ❤️ Yes..the buses are in multiple colors.
Loved this the POV was helpful. Looks like clean safe buses
Hope you are having a great time! I miss going to trade shows. Happy travels.
It was a lot of fun! Definitely want to do it again!

The Gillig brt plus in Orlando is the same bus in Sacramento
Awesome show!

Staying on the same street, from one end of the city to the other, would be helpful as well.

Im proud to be a LYNX bus driver
Good morning are the lynx bus route good as Miami? I live in palm beach county and there system is horrible
@@mjmendez5634 You live in Palm Beach County & are complaining about Miami whose transit system is a million times better than where you live?
The first bus you got on was a 2022. The “secret” to tell is the last 3 numbers on the bus. So 422 lets you know that the bus is 40ft and it’s a 2022
Oh that makes sense. I was trying to figure out how the buses are numbered! Thanks!
Is public transit in Orlando good and do they run frequent? I’m from nyc but live in palm beach. Palm beach public transportation sucks completely.
For Orlando's size its OK, but the local buses & train system are different companies. Would be better if they were 1.
What does it take to become a rail operator
Can’t help but notice you didn’t take a greyhound cross country 👀. I’m just kidding 😂
I probably still wouldn’t be back home yet! Lol. I do plan on taking a cross country Amtrak trip one day!
Yo diesel bus or electric ? been driving for 3 months part time at night i like the diesel bus all day
The buses I drive in Sacramento are mostly CNG..and a few battery electric buses.
Where was this bus Staion at? I never saw it when I went to Orlando
Downtown Orlando
@@FlyiDCG In other words he went to DISNEY not Orlando the actual City! 😂😋
You could of took the 42 from the airport
Yup I saw that later..completely new to the system! But I’m glad I went the way I did because I was able to see the central station.
