Two guys that keep it real and know how to have fun.
I know Chuck is an amateur but I honestly think this one of the greatest stories in golf. To watch him struggle with his swing being awful to what he has accomplished now is utterly amazing. I can't imagine how much more he loves to play now even though he's always loved it. And a big shout out to Stan for what he did to help Charles enjoy playing is also amazing.
For Chuck to go from a 30 handicap to 12 is amazing. It's all due to his swing change
He’s now able to actually use his natural athleticism.

Charles was actually a good golfer BEFORE he developed the hitch.

Man I would love to golf with these two men! What a blast that would be! Charles that swing looks great! John you are a legend and I've always been a fan of yours. You still crushing the ball like it ain't nothing.
I'll never forget meeting Charles just outside of Orlando back in 1999. We were building a cell tower along side the road and this green Ford Expedition with the base thumping pulled up. The passenger window went down and there was Charles. He was eating a McDonalds fish sandwich and asking me a lot of questions about cell towers. Tiger was driving.

It is absolutely amazing what Stan Utley was able to do with Charles. Charles had every pro in the world look at his swing for 15 years and nobody could help him. Stan Utley was able to do what what nobody else could do. He has to be one of the best teachers there is.

Charles is one of the most loved sports figures because he is a real person. Full of himself at the right times, otherwise he is quite humble and comfortable with life, people.

Always been a fan of John, from the moment he showed up on the Tour, but Charles is another story. I had little respect for him as a player but I've grown to become a massive fan since he left the court. This was fun to watch.
Yeah, I can't say much about Charles as a player, but he's always came off as a legit guy as a person. Every story and interaction I've read or seen that includes Charles just has him as the same humble dude who understands that he can owe all the nice things that people do and complimentary stuff is due to him being famous/rich. He's more than willing to take advantage of it, but he has never let it just go to his head. He's still just the same kid from the block, but now he can actually do all that stuff he dreamed about with his friends at the local court.

i'm not even a golf fan but i love me some Barkley and love me some John Daly. These 3 minutes were more entertaining than the WNBA, Women's World Cup, and the women's hockey farce combined

It is insane how much Charles Barkley improved his swing.

12 is not a difficult handicap to hit. I’ve seen guys that hit it 200 off the tee that are 12s
@@wrangler5729 It's not about distance from the tee. I am a 9.8 with a 270 drive BUT, pacing putts is what keeps me 2/3 putting every hole
It's easy to have a 12 hdcp. if you have your ball thrown from the trees to the fairway on every hole. I'm guessing that would cut about 10 shots a round off your score. He's probably an 18-20 hdcp. without the foot wedges. Look at his divot on the 97 yard shot - it's a out to in swing path.
He needs to watch videos about shallowing the club on the downswing.
@@wrangler5729 But those guys hit it straight as an arrow. Charles' swing has slice written all over it. Look at his over the top/chicken wing release. And he's no doubt had some of the best teachers money/fame can buy. He gets to play in all sorts of pro-ams and get tips from the best to ever play the game. At one time he was friends with Tiger. Lucky thing he could play at least one sport well - just not golf.
