I have both, scram jet is fun for dealing with griefers and also getting on roofs, vigilante is also good for defense against oppressor scammers, but I also use it to get around the map, scramjet is more of a fun time vehicle with defence

The fully upgraded with no boost actually goes to the vigilante you can easily see the scran jet start a second before the vigilante.

After you use the jump you're supposed to tilt the Scramjet upwards so the boost launches it higher in the air rather than straight forward.

Scramjet owner here. I started playing solo, so I get all my cars from the podium, but the scramjet is very very useful if your getting griefed. You don’t even need to fight back, you just drive down a big road and spam the boost no oppresser mk2 can keep up with it
Don’t spam the boost because once you are boosting and you press it again it cancels the boost
I’m an owner of both and I own two vigilantes I also had about 277 million at one point
I have both and I use scramjet so much more often. The weapons are better and the boost works better if you use the jump with it. Jump, then act as if you are going to do a flip in the air, but before you become completely vertical hit the boost and it THROWS you. Also that jump really comes in handy when you get in spots that are difficult to get out of. Also it shortens the time of your drive by making it super easy to jump over mountains, instead of u- turns or having to go on a different road, you can just jump and you'll end up where you need to be. The car is essentially a flying vigilante if you use it correctly.

Basicaly it comes down to boost. The scramjet has a longer boost duration and the vigilante had a faster boost recharge

Abilities for those 2:
Vigilante:
Have the most powerful vehicle boost in the game,and is probably the fastest car on ground with it.
Have accurate missiles,but fires slower than you hope they will.
Can be used in Heists.
Scramjet:
Boost lasts longer,but weaker and takes longer to charge than the vigilante.
Have accurate missiles,but fires slower than you hope they will.
Possesses jumping ability,but cannot be used in Heists due to this one simple reason. GTA logic guys.

Arena War vehicles are not an exception since they can be modified with jump features,which applies even if you don't.

@@user-vn6ki6gs8w also,some vehicles that are overpowered,such as the Khanjali and Chernobog(which is totally useless,lol),or are added later in the game such as those F1 cars,cannot be used in certain heists by any chance. But interestingly you can use a RC tank in the heist,but not the bandito.

when testing which was faster fully upgraded, the scramjet had a 1.5 second head start, so it would've been closer to a tie. :/
They are two separate time trials, there can be no headstarts. Timer starts when you gas

Yeah, you can get in the air with the Scramjet, but if I really wanted to get in the air, that's what my Op MkII is for. If I want to ram into every npc vehicle and cops and other players in the fastest land vehicle, (I think) I use the Vigilante.
The scramjet can make it across the lake. You have to jump and keep the car angled upwards as you boost. You can get some insane air time if you do that. You jumped and made the scramjet look down at the water
I hate what Rockstar has done here. The Scramjet SHOULD be better in every single way, I mean it’s the Mach 5, a futuristic jet powered super car meant to travel multiple hundreds of miles per hour, while the Batmobile is basically a jet with wheels.
