This entire video is about Kindred actually. That’s why you hear her voice at the start. In the first scene right after Aatrox gets annihilated by Kayle, you can see Kindreds silhouette. In the second scene Yasuo is old and it’s assumed he’s about to die, he closes his eyes as Kindreds arrow comes down and accepts his death. In the last scene Tryndamere is about to die and simply doesn’t because of his undying rage, he is quite literally fighting off death which is why it depicts him fighting Kindred, whom you can see for a brief moment even shows slight confusion as to why Tryndamere is able to fight back and isn’t accepting his faith. It’s clear at the end that Ashe saves him from dying and that’s why Kindred is no longer there. Beautifully done in my opinion

I think the old guy that looks like yasuo is elder souma. Yasuo's master that was killed by riven.

The side eye Kayle gave to Morgana triggered me so much, I immediately knew it was the start of their fallout with one another
The arrow shot at Yasuo was from Kindred signifying his death (Kindred is the twin essences of death which is why it appears when a character is close to dying)
kindred is present in all the deaths in the cinematic they also briefly appear in the fires kayle launches towards aatrox
wish I could understand this type of stuff right away rather than having to read up afterwards, thank you!
@gammarvad4363 yes aatrox can't die but the host can and that's who the kindred is there to get. in this video it's at 2:08/2:09 (in the actual vido for the cinematic it's at 1:39) the shiluette in the flames is lamb and i never said yasuo doesn't. also it is yasuo when you take into account the description of the video: Past, present, and possible futures-we remember them all. (an obvious quote from kindred) menaing that the 3 instances corespond to each of those: Kayle and Morg in early demacia (aka the past of about 1000 years)

@gammarvad4363 Aatrox doesn't die. His host does. Hosts decay, they are filth to him because of this. That's why he hates his flesh so much and why he misses his original uncorrupted form.
This whole Cinematic is based around Kindred (Lamb and Wolf). In the World of Runeterra, Kindred is essentially the grim reaper. She collects those in death. there are signs of Kindred in all 3 scenes.
the Scenes are broken up into Past, Future, and Present.
In the Past, Two Demi-Angels, Kayle (blonde) and Morgana (Brunette) Defended and dealt justice in a Land that would eventually become known as Demacia. The Scene Depicts an area under siege by the Darkin Aatroxx (the demon). Darkin were originally ascendant beings but they were driven mad by the void in a war long ago. Kayle and Morgana are sisters, their Mother is an angel, and they both hold 1 half of their mother's sword. They defeat Aatrox. In the lore, Kayle is stoic and brings justice in a very cold and unemotional way, while Morgana is more affected by the plight of humans and reasons that judgement and justice can be tempered.
In the scene Morgana drops her mothers weapon and taps into darker powers to fight Aatrox, you can see the disdain Kayle has for Morgana in the quick glance she gives her, even as she takes up both halves of her mothers sword and causes the firestorm. if you look closely, there is an afterimage in the fire that is Kindred.
Then you go to the Future, in Ionia, where we are greeted by an Old man version of Yasuo, the Wind swordsman. After he uses his whirlwind, you see many arrows in the sky coming for Yasuo, including a bright one, which appears to hit him, this is the Arrow of Kindred, claiming Yasuo. if you look in the sky, you can also see the apparent shape of a wolfs head.
in the last scene, which would be considered the Present, in Frejord, you see Tryndamere, who has the power to avoid death by tapping into his rage via blood magic. He is married to Ashe, a Frostborn Tribal Leader. In the scene, Trendamere is fighting death (literally) by fighting against Kindred (the Lamb and the Wolf). Tryndamere power in game is literally to become un-killable for a short period of time. As the fight goes on, Kindred lets her bow go because Ashe has arrived, and saves Tryndamere. It's not his time to die.
It's based on the part of the lore.
Past - When Kayle and Morgana are fighting together before they have decide to go with their own separate ways.
Present is for Tryndamere and during his ultimate he was close to death that's why Kindred lower their bow because they knew Ashe is about to save him.
Future - Yasuo is older and fights one last time before he sees the other arrows coming from the sky and also the arrow from Kindred (in the forest you can see the eyes of the Wolf*). Which is the harbinger of his death.
Isn't that suppose to be Yasuo's master?
The one that trained him, whom he failed to protect?

We don’t know the actual way he died.
I mean I want y’all to be right, and it would show that riot isn’t afraid of major character death, and has plan for the future. Which is based.
My only argument is that Yasuo’s master was a pacifist, this person isn’t killing the attackers just pushing and disarming them.
Yasuo would cut through them like butter, especially after what they did to that village.

Tryndamere in his ult "defies" his death. And kindred is the depiction of death in league so it might be that he's literally "fighting death off" in his ult/ rage.

The whole theme is "StillHere", referencing Kindred who is DeathIncarnate. Whether it's the Past (Morgana &Kayle), Present (Tryndamere), and Future (OldMan Yasuo). Death is "Still Here" no matter whattime it is. You can see Kindred in the Fires of thePast destroying Aatrox, Facing Tryndamere, andShooting a Fatal Arrow at Old Man Yasuo in thehead.@@DavidSzajnuk

just as an fyi the description of the video is past present and possible futures we remember them all. a quote by obviously kindred (as they appear in each instance) and while the kayle and demacia one is obv in the past the ashe and trynd one is obv the present meaning that the ionian one is obviously the possible future meaning that yes that is most likely yasuo

No that was not the hawk shot flying at Yasuo. That was a Kindred arrow.
The lore of the cinematic:
(The past) In first scene we see Kayle and Morgana, they are fighting side by side both having their powers, when both of them are pushed to their limits Morgana gives away her powers as aspect of justice and binds Aatrox even if for a moment, then we can see Kayle taking Morgana powers representing her taking Morgana's sword and looking at her sister with disgust, when Morgana falls to the ground Kayle ascends and kills the host of Aatrox, we can see lamb in the flames showing his death. (Aatrox not really die but his host die)
(The future) In the second scene we see bandits raiding Ionian village and Yasuo as old man standing his ground, each time he uses his power bondages on his arm unravel and at the end we can see his acceptance and Kindred's arrow ending his life, we can see Wolf's eyes in the shadows right before arrow falls.
(The present) In the last scene we see Tryndamere fighting against a group of enemies, it is represented as him fighting Kindred (Death) both Wolf and Lamb refusing to die, his red eyes represent his ability to become immortal for short period of time, in the final scene we can see Lamb lowering her bow when Ashe (Tryn's wife) saves him from last enemies just in the moment he is about to die, seeing that its not the time to claim Tryndamere, Kindred disappears.
This cinematic represents that death is timeless showing one scene from the past one from present and one from future, it also shows both aspects of Kindred, when Aatrox's host dies we see Lamb idle while Wolf delivers the final blow, Wolf hunts down those who resist death. When yasuo dies the Wolf waits as the Lamb's arrow is the final moment. Lamb brings peaceful death to those that accept it. Tryndamere fights both Wolf and Lamb defying natural order using his powers but in the end does so successfully avoiding death.
The Old man is not Yasuo. He is a Wind Sword Master with wind force on his left arm.
It is yasuo. He has his scar.
Also the whole cinematic's motif is past present and the future, so it all checks out.
Its yasuo, a Riot Dev stated on twitter that Kindred showed a vision of his death to him!
If you read the lore, Yasuo is the ONLY swordsman in all of Runeterra that can use wind magic aside from Riven. Riven learned the technique when she asked Yasuo's master(Elder Souma) to shatter her runic blade, because she was trying to shake off the chains of her Noxian roots. Souma's wind technique shattered Riven's sword, and a stray shard flew off and killed him.
Listen, that old man ain't Riven, and they're literally going to sell the Yasuo skin(Foreseen Yasuo) on January 24th.
