There's a big difference in flavor between a charcoal grill vs a propane grill. I love the charcoal flavor so much better!

FYI - Mine came with instructions to use only chunk charcoal. Apparently there is something in the briquettes that is not good for the ceramic.
Yes I guess we should have specified! We used the “100 percent natural hard wood lump charcoal” (Jealous Devil is the brand we used and got it at Walmart)-we just call it all “charcoal” 😆😆

My little Big Green Egg has made being carnivore a breeze. I add apple and other types of wood to the Green Egg charcoal which is hickory and oak- the best flavor ever!! You won't regret cooking on one of these!

We’re taking a break but we will be back at it! Too much time wasted driving around finding nothing and favorite spots are locked or have signs so we’re waiting for things to open back up a bit and then we’ll be back at it. You guys don’t see the hundreds we check with nothing 😆 I think when bed bath and beyond closed and Burlington put locks on and Ulta put signs up and Barnes put up a lock I just got sad 😆Homeless will cut the locks and rip the signs soon enough. They always do 🤞🏼

Nooooo please don’t use briquettes anymore! Just natural lump charcoal otherwise you will eat the chemicals used for briquette production and it will fill the ceramic fire ring. Kamado is a “live” machine that keeps the memoir of the meals you cooked in, you will see how many textures to the flavor of your dish it will add cooking after cooking, but avoid chemicals, as they will ruin your experience ( and health ). Very nice video in any case you’re so enthusiastic that I want start the fire in my kamado too…and it’s a rainy day…
