For those that may have missed this in the past. EW has stated the first great ones should be on base game maps, but that someday they will have to branch out. So at some point they will have to do a non base game great one, i think the Rocky Elk would be perfect!

It looks so good. I’d love a go elk. I got one red deer g.o. Then quit playing for a year. Now I’m 600 kills into a moose grind. I’d def love an elk great one though
Love this. I strongly dislike the use of AI "art" but I'm all for taking inspiration from AI for designing great one models. All of these would look awesome imo as great ones if EW decides to take inspiration using AI. Kinda hoping we get a rosie elk instead though lol
i would absolutely be happy with any of these designs for a GO Elk whether it be rocky or Roosevelt! I also didn't realize how much i'd love to see velvelted racks until you showed us these! Still holding out hope that the next GO would be elk or red fox, but would be happy with coyote too :) but can't really go wrong with any of the GOs!

I think they should bring back having common, albino, mela fur types for G1s the problem with the moose is they made rares WAAAAAY too rare that they should have an even opportunity to get a G1 exclusive fur and a common fur but, make albino and mela slightly more rare.

Expansive worlds has said that they want to make great ones accessible to people who don’t purchase maps, Im nearly certain that they’ll make a great one wild boar, it is accessible on 3 different maps including hirshefelden, and we have never had a G1 with horns, also wild boar will likely be included on the new map which is very likely Nepal. (Great concept tho)
I would like the next Great One to be either the roe deer or the wild boar, the latter would be different from the others since its trophy would be in the tusks, you could make a video explaining a possible wild boar Great One
EW said they would like to get as many great one species that are in in the non dlc maps as possible, so I think that if and when we get a great one elk it would most likely be a Roosevelt elk. By the way that fourth fur was fantastic! I do love the idea of velvet on the antlers especially velvet that is in the process of coming off.

I know nothing about elk so idk if an extra color is realistic. Maybe just make a fake color specifically for a great one.
Hey crow! Been awhile, but Ive been busy. Still no G1 after 11,000+ kills while switching back and forth with WT and RD. Love the vids keep it up. Almost 200k. When I started watching u only had 50k!
I was zoned out in class the other day and started thinking about a g1 elk and thought about what fur they whould have. And I thought of FABELD FLAME. Kind of almost a spruce base color and darker Orange lines going from the nose across its back with black legs.
I think it would be really cool to see a elk with big antlers but most importantly having the antlers look like there freshly rubbed so there blood red with velvet scraps hanging off it
As cool as this would be, I'm still hoping for Hogzilla as a Great One. We got enough antlered GOs right now. I definitely want some of these elk in the game, especially the black-white body and a massive nontypical rack, but not yet

And I have noticed that every since they added the new guns, that the multiplayer servers are SUUPER screwed up. Like I was trying to hunt lions so I kept clicking on savana but it was joining revontuli and layton instead

You gotta think... Basically all the maps/reserves are extremely realistic on biomes, and were would they even be? An elk Go would mean another US map which we have enough of already.

Much rather would’ve seen you collaborate with artists in the community or made your own. I’m not unsubbing or calling you out for this or anything, but this is not what I want to see from the channel.
Ill be straight forward with you. Considering i do daily videos and 4+ streams a week all 100% by myself (thumbnails, editing, etc.) i dont have a lot of time to get each project made. In many cases i would not have time to wait for an artist to make me 4 or 5 different great one elk. But with the AI stuff i can spend 30-60 minutes and have the 5 images shown in this video. I really dont see how using it in the way i did here is bad. Especially when its just showing pictures of what a great one elk could look like. Its not like i use AI much at all and i really dont intend to use it unless i have to. I almost always use stock images instead but they didn't have any of non typ elk on the sites i pay monthly for.
When the Black bear and Rocky ELK put together at the same time, the result was predictable. The next G1 will Rocky ELK...., so as not to run twice. Grindslaughter.....

I honestly love the fur of the 3rd elk picture, sort of like a sparse piebald variation.
Elk would make an awesome G1 and would fit with their current criteria. Classic medium/large animal and can be found on a non-DLC map

I think that if they did an Elk GO, it would be both species at the same time. Hence Roosevelt Elk would be on a non dlc map and Rocky in a dlc.

I think that Rocky Mountain Elk would not become a great one because it is not in the base game but maybe a Roosevelt Elk in the future.
