Voromotors Emove Roadrunner 400 Mile Full Review- Should You Buy the New Roadrunner Pro?

  • This is my opinion on the Voromotors Roadrunner after riding it 400 miles in group rides and as a daily driver/commuter & group ride vehicle. Overall this is a great bike at an unbeatable price. As long as you are aware of the limitations this vehicle has, you should have a relatively stress free experience, though the bike does have some flaws. This is a completely different vehicle than the faster, heavier, & more intense Roadrunner Pro. Hopefully this video can help you choose between the two bikes. My next video will be of my test ride on the Roadrunner Pro so subscribe if you want to hear my thoughts on it.

    I got the Pro... Youre right about cops... I've gone 40-50mph NEXT to them and I've said hi.. lol. They gave me a nod.

      I have the himiway cruiser and it will go 30-32 reliably and slower on hills. That speed is fine if you have a decent bike infrastructure and people acually follow the speed limit in the city but realistically the pro can be rides in the street and not impead traffic. 30mph speed limit means 35-40 is needed and that pro will still have some extra to give

    Cool video Bro. I have the RoadRunner/Lectric 2.0/Emove Cruiser. Here in Chicago the weather is gross. Can’t wait to back out there. Enjoy!

    Huge fan of the Non Pro roadrunner due to its size and weight. To the untrained eye, it looks like the small jetson ebike that everyone gets from Costco.

      Agreed! I still love my roadrunner after 700 miles

      Agreed as well I’ve been begging vorro motors to make a Pro Mini. Imagine dual 1000w motors at like 52v with more torque off the line and rear suspension.

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes 100%! Keeping it under 100 lbs with rear suspension and more power would be incredible.

    Do you like your mirror set up? What is the reccomended stem If I want to keep the folding handlebars?

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah my mirror set up is fine. I have them below my handlebars only for my youtube videos. When they were above the stem, they would block too much of the camera view.
      For the stem, any standard mtb stem will do. I believe voro has their own upgraded stem on their site but it might be sold out. I have not decided on a stem for myself yet.
      You can see what stems people used on the roadrunner users & mods forum on facebook here.

    Hi can u please tell me how fast each mode goes on 500w not both motors . 2nd how hard is it to change the wheel if you get a flat tire . I’m thinking of getting this one because the pro is 115 pounds 😮😮

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Single motor mode 1 reaches about 20mph. Mode 2 is around 24. Mode 3 is around 28.
      I wish mode 1 was 15 mph, mode 2 20mph and mode 3 at 28 but oh well.
      These wheels are not too hard to change but not easy. I used a hair dryer to heat up the tires & make them more flexible and that helped a lot to get the tire off the rim. I also have tire slime in mine to help prevent flats.
      Yeah i know what you mean, 115 lbs is almost as much weight as a surron.

    Do you notice any flexing in the front shock ? Besides the normal downward travel.

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually do, now that you mention it. I noticed after I replaced my brakes and rotors. When the brakes are fully engaged and I try to move forward, there's some slight give that I think is coming from the front forks/shocks

    • @7sonero7
      @7sonero7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Stuart Grand See if you notice it during normal breaking. I get like a pulsing . Especially if the shock is set to the max firmness. I tried setting shock to softest, and it helps a bit.

      Did you check to see if you have front tire wobble? Its a very common problem with the RR. Set the bike on a stand and get the wheels spinning to see if the tires are aligned properly. I had this problem on my RR when I got it th-cam.com/video/Sp2YfKFUh4A/w-d-xo.html

    • @7sonero7
      @7sonero7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Stuart Grand Yeah, I know about the wobble issue. It's more like a flex like you described. If you stand over the fork while applying brake. Move handlbar forward and back and see if you notice flexing. Especially when dialed into max.

    Just got my roadrunner and the front wheel wobbles a lot .How did you get rid of the wobbbling.

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว

      In short, you have to deflate the tube, take it out. Re insirt the tube and make sure it is centered all the way around. then inflate again. You should check out this facebook forum for roadrunner users and mods here. You can also find other answers to other problems with the RR here: facebook.com/groups/702615157371225/permalink/829307831368623/

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว

      People also add soapy water to the outside of the tubes to help it line up right. Here's a youtube video explaining th-cam.com/video/H9HPaD-Sw8g/w-d-xo.html

    I had to stop watching 4 minutes in because your audio was so rough to listen to. Maybe subtitles next time in the future when there's a ton of wind noise?

    • @StuartGrand
      @StuartGrand  ปีที่แล้ว

      Understandable. Wind plus traffic noise was louder than expected. Might have to invest in a mic
