What is it about some artists, that characteristic where they can't see how we appreciate their talent as the perform on stage? She is so good at what she does, yet really doesn't seem to believe it. I guess we couldn't possibly se what she's seen; all those times in her music career when people told he she wasn't a good enough singer, or musician, or whatever. Well Amanda, I am here to tell you that you are very good. You should feel good about that, at least part of the time. BTW, thanks for your and Jason's I So Lounging series. It has been a sublime pleasure. Stay safe and lets hope we can all start getting back to normal in another month or two.

She’s humbled unlike so many performers. I can very much appreciate that. When we believe we’ve mastered our craft, then it’s time to find a new craft. My husband is also a talented musician, has written original music and has performed all over the nation. He says he’s just “okay” at playing guitar (he was lead guitarist in his band). I think he’s stellar. And I think Amanda is stellar!

She reminds me so much of Johnny Gimble. Her fiddle style is so clean and fresh. Just love her.

“Talking about music is like dancing about architecture.” Frank Zappa said something like that…
