I've had the chance to hear her perform that in person on their concert tour in the US. I manage to make hand heart with her in the group photo! her singing gives me goosebump!! i was gonna spoil you with the outcome of the show, but since you was going to watch it i'm not going to lol. Yoohyeon also auditioned for it too, but she didn't make the cut, sadness. Would have been 2 Dreamcatchers in the competition. As always your reactions to the girls are adorable ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
if anyone tries to battles Siyeon over this kind of genre, which is she was an specialist, they have to think it a million times. facing her like this, not going to make you die. you're just going to be dead! the only person who beat her in the final round on this episode, was former I.O.I, and now WJSN, Yeonjung. but in the song category which is Yeonjung expertise.
I love her confidence. She knows how good she is and she just gets up there and lays it out. The way she looked at the audience at the end with an expression that shouted 'there, I dare you to top that!' That's what I remember most from the first time I saw this performance. She came in second, but not for me.

This was from the tvN show V-1 which was basically a 3 episode knock-out battle between various girl group vocalists.
Siyeon won twice, with this song being her second win and getting her into the final against Yeonjung from WJSN, who was in I.O.I and is known for her vocals so it's not surprising that she won.

An album of their covers would be amazing, and long! 😄 Luckily I use youtube music as my main app and they let you make playlists mixing songs and videos. So this has been in my dreamcatcher playlist for a while. But audio quality changes a lot cause of it.

I've not seen this talent show, but I can't believe she came in second. I can't imagine anything better than this. Siyeon is one of the most talented vocalists I've ever seen, of any genre. Watch more of her solo stuff, she's so impressive.

i am not 100% sure about the show,.. but as far as i know its a show for main vocalists, that compete against each other, afaik Siyeon won 2nd Place and the girl that sat ther eopen mouthed won 1st.. ( i dont know her name only she is someone i should know)
She is from the group Cosmic Girl (WSJN) but I can't remember her name. Their sound is not really my music taste but they are/were more famous than our Dreamcatcher back in the days. And just in case, Siyeon lost with another song ("Overdose" was performed in the round before the final).

I can honestly say that Jiu was my bias from debute. But during the autumn of 2019 Siyeon just took over and almost exactly one year before your reaction video I met them in Helsinki during their European tour at the meet and great. The only thing I can say is that all the girls are absolute pros, but Siyeon is no doubt a super star, in every good way possible. Given the right promotion, she will reach the stars.
You've now had the epiphany and come to understand the secret and power that is Dreamcatcher! Sad thing is they are still so Underrated by the K-Pop Fandom In General and they still have yet to get their First Win On A Music Program! They Have Come Very Close But Its Always Just Out of Their Grasp for One Reason or Another (Watch: TH-camr Mira's: A History of Dreamcatcher: Dodging Disbandment And Other Extreme Sports for more on that. For a General Guide Watch: The Ultimate 2020 Guide to Dreamcatcher. Some good news is DC has gained some more popularity and Respect with the Dystopia Series Comebacks of Scream and Boca, They Rank a Respectable 37th in Brand Recognition. They've had Variety Show Appearances. But I'm Still Waiting for them to make Knowing Brothers: Ask Us Anything and Running Man, which they now have made a connection to after appearing on Idol Live: Idol Picnic as Suk Jin Big Nose Oppa was a Host. [They also apoeared on Idol Live: Idol Room] If DC could only get to show their unique personalities, talents and charms on those shows I think it would be a Huge Boost for Dreamcatcher and Captapult them even more into the Main Stream than wheret they are now! It would help them become One of The Top Tier Female Idol Groups. BTW: Other Things that have Boosted them as of late: They were part of The UNESCO Project Group: Millenasia Project with the Song: 'Be The Future' Honoring Teachers and is a song about helping to stop the spread of Covid-19 by using good hygiene pratices. IN2IT and Alexa are Also part of the Group and its the Closest you'll ever see DC going back to their days as Minx and Their Song 'Love Shake' [Also check Minx's MV: 'Why Did You Come To My Home' Those Two Songs and The Concept are 360° different to The Dreamcatcher we know and Love Today. But Truthfully Many InSomnia actually like those songs; But we'll keep Dreamcatcher as Dreamcatcher. They're Very Catchy. Love Shake was originally a song by DC/Minx's older siste group Dal Shabet. Also Handong & Gahyeon were not members of Minx. They joined during the reformation as Dreamcatcher ).
JiU and SuA even joked about it! Dreamcatcher was also Named Ambassadors For I think it was an [Idol] Suicide Prevention and or Stop Malicious Hate Comments Towards Idols and others on Social Media Platforms Ad Campaign. Lastly Happyface Entertainment Re-named/Branded Themselves Now as The Dreamcatcher Company with D1nce and HF Music as Sub Labels/Subdivisions. As for their talent Dami and Siyeon have the most writing and producing or composing credits. Dami reportedly earns the most from royalty fees. SuA has done Choerography for some of their videos. She is Responsible for Red Sun, Taki Taki Dance Cover and Havana Cover. JiU and Yoohyeon have Writing credits, JiU also has composer and producer credits for the song Dear which she wrote (Also of Note: Dami wrote their song: Scar) and Handong just recently released her Chinese Solo Song: By The Early Light of Dawn. Yet only InSomnia knows all of this. They make a Big Deal Over Jennie writing and producing for Black Pinks latest release (please no hate I like her and BP just making a comparison) or BTS writing their own stuff, but you hear nothing about DC who has been doing it for awhile now too or even about LE who did the same for ExiD when they were still around. Well got to go its time for DC's My Music Taste 7 Spirits Concert Rehearsal Sarang Hae❤.
P.S. The only other sad thing is reportedly Dreamcatcher Company is owned as a Independent Sub Label Division of the Same Company That is the same Parent Company of MLD Ent. which Momoland is under. Luckly DC Company as far as we know does not have any major issues like MLD or even Pledis which is now under Big Hit. Personally I'd like to DC Company be under one of the Bigger Companies Like One of the Big 3 or actually maybe Now Big 4. However as much as I like BP, I think I'd personally rather see DC under someone else other than YG; as I'm still expecting the day when YG will do BP Dirty like they Did to that groups Immediate Sunbae Noonas. YG already did almost everyone in the Industry including DC Company (Then Happyface Ent.) with Mix9Nine [See: Again Mira's A History of Dreamcatcher Dodging Disbandment and other Extreme Sports Video]! Further Good News However is: Siyeon has been Recognized by Disney for her Covers. JiU came in #1 on a Survey On Idols That Could Star as a Disney Character/Princess Yeah JIU Totally Gave Off Belle Vibes During BOCA! Siyeon has Special Clip MV's For Her Song Contribution Titled: 'Good Sera' for the OST of the K-Drama: Into The Ring. Oh DC Company Joining Forces with PNation might also be Satisfactory.

It's easy to enjoy the song if you already know the original song..And it's comparable. But as always Dreamcatcher even exceed your expectation in every song they covered
The show is called V-1! There were idols (mostly main vocalists) from different girl groups and they competed to get first place, I think it only has 2 episodes but it's really worth watching, all of them did beyond amazing
