Good looking Sambar! I just imported a 96 Sambar low km too here in NC. Having the AC will definitely be nice especially there in Texas. I gave mine a test drive when I bought it in Japan on hot and humid June day in Tokyo and thought how nice it would have been to have AC...
Hi Ryan. Been watching your channel since the first Macbook review. I once sent you a laser if you can remember that far back?! Really looking forward to videos on the Sambar. As a fellow Weeb I'm foaming at the mouth for one. Good to see you back man.
I purchased them from crooober / upgarage, the tires are montreal brand. 13" Since they are used and new old stock wheels I can't give you a link to buy the same ones sorry.
It's pretty simple, single power and ground, then all the other wires go back to the rear tail lights and reverse lights. I just tapped them on the harness in the rear of the truck.
I took delivery of my Subaru Sambar 1998 truck a few days ago. So far I love it. I have subscribed to you to stay connected.
Very Nice! Just picked up my 1998 Sambar in Freeport last month.
I have been doing my homework and I am leaning towards a Sambar. Good job on the video!

No worries. Like a lot of the Kei truck world, I'm going to dig into it and enjoy the trip. Thanks!
Very cool! Tempting as well. I have a Civic Si now, would love something with more utility like this.
I should add, to go along side the Civic, not replace it lol
@@StewDogR Let me know, I can refer you to my excellent importer to get you one.
Awesome video!

Also, how do I get a net like the one you have?

Mine's waiting for a shipping date. Can you share the rims and tires you bought? My DMV said that's one failure point for most that they see. Thanks!

Where did you get the seat covers
Seat covers are from amazon japan, Azur Seat Covers for SAMBER TRUCK TT1 TT2 AZ06R01-001
Can you share how you mounted/wired your rear light. I ordered one of the lights about 2 months ago but have not installed it. Thanks
It's pretty simple, single power and ground, then all the other wires go back to the rear tail lights and reverse lights. I just tapped them on the harness in the rear of the truck.
How did you route the cable down? Did you drill a hole in the bed or remove one of the bolts in the bed?
@@StephenTaylor-c2v I drilled a hole and put a grommet in. There wasn’t really a better way to do it.
Not sure if you want a following but if you had links to the items you purchased for the truck it might help with subscribing.
Thanks, sorry I'm still new at this.
