Ratusan orang Maluku sore ini datang ke Malieveld di kota Den Haag untuk memperingati 71 tahun yang lalu (pada 25 April 1950) Republik Maluku Selatan (RMS) diproklamasikan, dimana Maluku memisahkan diri dari Indonesia.
Pukul 5 sore waktu Belanda sudah tengah malam di Maluku, maka Hari Kemerdekaan pun dimulai. Sejak saat itu, pidato diberikan dan ada penari upacara.

Several hundred Moluccans came this afternoon to Malieveld in the city of Den Haag to commemorate that 71 years ago (on April 25, 1950) the Republic of the South Moluccas(RMS) was proclaimed, whereby the Moluccas separated from Indonesia.
At 5 p.m. Dutch time, it will be midnight in the Moluccas and then the independence day starts. From that moment on, speeches are given and there are ceremonial dancers.
