My thoughts are that Lisa Eldridge's technique is represented in her products: She likes to layer shades of makeup to create a more sfumato outcome, than the new makeup tendency of super intense makeup. She does use a lot of fine arts and designer terminology and art history, which in a sense does give me the impression her makeup is going to represent her philosophy. Also, most highend makeup fall into that catagory. I use to work for Dior, Lancome, Chanel and other brands of that catagory, and I must say it's not going to be like Urban Decay or celebrity makeup brands with super pay off. In conclusion to this product, this can be use as a everyday use and the high payoff makeup can be for a night out at the town, or events.
Absolutely!! However for me, some of the shimmers ( like in the Muse) just were very hard to work with, and they faded away very fast! I own Dior, Chanel shadows and I have no problem with them. They are soft shimmers but easy to work with. With some of the Lisa Eldridge I struggled and it took me just too long to build the color for it to fade away. Again, not all of them, some like in the Sorcery or Myth were perfect.
I have a very large luxury makeup collection and I have never experienced an easier eyeshadow application than w these palettes. They apply and blend seamlessly with incredible ease and wore well with little fading for me. It’s important not to over blend them as they’re designed to blend easily to the point to blending into one. I do think skin tone and shade matters as to how strong the colors present on the skin, esp with Cinnabar and Muse palettes. I have very, very fair olive skin and they looked great on me, esp Myth. The topper shades did have impact on my skin shade. The formula is also fantastic for aging skin, didn’t settle into wrinkles or appear/feel dry. I appreciate a palette that isn’t too pigmented for a more diffused look but isn’t boring or like other palettes in my collection. This is great for aging eyes. I love a very pigmented shadow, such as Pat McGrath palettes and her shadow colors/pigments, but they can be difficult to apply, esp for wrinkled or dry skin. These LE palettes are almost perfection.
Very thoughtful review Tania! Presently I only have Vega. I find the mattes beautifully silky and smooth, and I look forward to picking up additional matte and shimmers singles. For me, the 2 shimmers in Vega were perfect. Lisa's formula is excellent for textured or mature eyes. They give a beautiful luminosity and yet somehow manage to smooth the eyelid; in lieu of emphasizing the texture, as so many formulas do. Albeit I understand your feelings of disappointment when comparing this formula to that of a PM shimmer. I agree the price is a bit steep, but I believe expected when compared to CT etc. Continued success in the growth of your channel! ~ LeaAnne
Tania, you made the best observation ever when you said you could blend these colors away. I don't expect high-end makeup to disappear before I'm finished applying it and that is exactly what these shadows are doing. Also, they are coming out, full price, just when everything else is on sale. I'm going to pass on these and treat myself to another product on my wish list that's on sale.
You're not using it in the way they're designed to. They're SUPPOSED to be very lightweight. You build it up. It offers a light touch. Wanting eyeshadow to be 100% saturated from a tap like a Jeffrey Star is fine for some looks, but way too strong for many others.
Tania you are my favorite female beauty youtuber.. your thoroughness and honesty means so much and has helped me decide on so many products! Your beauty shines from within and I appreciate you so much! Thank you for all you do here on this platform ❤️ I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving with your beautiful family 💕
Hi Tania, this is why we love u, we love your honesty, and detailed videos. To me, $68, should show some pigment. While they look pretty, they don’t wow me, last year I bought the ysl clutch palette, and I think I paid $110, I was soooooo disappointed, there was no pigment and the colors washed away. For me, I need pigment. Thank u for putting all these videos together, I’m sure it took a lot of time and effort. 😘❤️😘❤️
Hi Tania! I'm LOVING Sorcery and Vega so far. I wore Sorcery a few nights ago and my mom was like 👀what's on your eyes, which says something because she rarely comments on my makeup. Then, I wrote Vega for Thanksgiving last night and all the guests were asking what was on my eyes. Myth is also really beautiful but I can't imagine wearing the entire palette because the colors are too vibrant for me but I did purchase Faded Amethyst because that metallic looked gorgeous. I definitely don't need anymore of these palettes (your general review of the collection confirms this) but I am still looking forward to seeing what other color stories Lisa comes out with in the future. I do agree with you, mostly, about her mattes--they are lovely but I haven't had a blending away issue with the shades in the palettes I've used. On the other hand, I disagree about the metallics. So far, they've been looking nice and shiny on my eye lids. They aren't the BEST palettes but I am happy that I picked up the two that I did. Anyway, I appreciate you buying and trying out all of the palettes and letting us know your honest thoughts. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I do think the Sorcery and the Vega shimmers are good. I think I was referring to the Cinnabar and Muse metallics. Some of those do not show up almost at all on me. I think the Sorcery has some wonderful shimmers and Vega in my opinion has the best ones! ❤️
Yes, what I noticed about some of Lisa's matte eyeshadows is that when you blend them, like you said, they disappear but also the colors kind of blend to the point that you can't tell the difference between the colors, you look as if you've applied the same color all over your eyelid and the same color in the crease of your eye. 🤔🤔This has happened to me with some eye shadows that are very cheap, I admit that they are beautiful but they are expensive to have that effect on my eyes. Thanks for the videos, you do a makeup style that I loved, 💖💖💖💖everything in your eyes looks beautiful and impeccable. I will definitely subscribe to your channel!!🤗🤗🤗💖
I only got the muse palette and I was also dissapointed by some of the shades, especially the metallic. It is ro soft of a shimmer to be called a metallic in my opinion. Also the shades look darker in the pan than they do on the eye. I tried using the metallic shade with a spritz of setting spray and that gave it a little bit more shine. I also put some UD space cowboy on top to amp it up. It was not worth the money for me and I wish I had went for the Vega or Myth instead. By the way, my palette also came with the shadows in the wrong order! 😁
I am really glad I only bought the Myth palette. I do really like it, but I expected more. The packaging to me felt cheap, I'm probably an outlier on that but I didn't like it. The packaging, maybe because of the back, reminded me of Tarte. The color stories in general underwhelmed me. Even though they weren't for me, I think they are really well thought out and can see how there can be 2-3 looks from each even with only 6 pans. That is what I really like the most, they are really versatile. I'm personally really tired of large palettes or palettes with shades I'll never get the use from. Eventually I am sure she will come out with another color story that will grab my attention.
I also love smaller palettes. I almost never reach for larger ones and I do enjoy the size of these Lisa Eldridge palettes. I find them just not consistent and for the price I want some more heavy duty packaging.
Posted 45 mn ago and already 200 + views ! Can’t lie I was so excited to see this video too !! Would love to see a follow up video with your « personal » palette, like how you would swap the colour to make your dream Lisa Eldridge palette ! Would love to see swatch comparisons with VB palette too ☺️😶🫣 I think I love the cinnamon the most of you and then the myth 😮😮😮 soooo pretty
So happy to hear that Vega and Myth are your top two palettes - these are the two that I bought 😉 I also bought lots of matte singles and a few of the shimmer singles. I'm going de-pot all the shadows and, together with the singles, I'm going to put them all into a large magnetic palette. That way, I'll have every matte/shimmer to hand and I will be able to mix n match. Of course, I'll keep the LE, which I can use to put together my own palette if travelling etc. Incidentally, I agree with everything you've said in this video. Wishing you and your family a Very Happy Thanksgiving 😊 Love you so much, 💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗
Unfortunately I hate the packaging. For the price of this palette, the packaging feels cheap to me.Victoria Beckham palettes are cheaper and more heavier and feel expensive. I ordered Vega and disapointed how light this plastic packaging feels. To be honest I was hoping for one palette release even if she would price it at $100 or Pat's price points. Its just too many to choose from and expensive if you want more than one color story. You did created beautiful looks with each palette! I enjoyed watching all of the videos regarding palettes I do not have but curious about! Thank you for the time you put into your videos!
As someone who has very very dry and brown pigmented eyelids, I cannot use most chunky, intense shimmers on the market. I also can't use concealer and then wear glittery shades, I can wear Lisa's shadows though and I am so excited!!! The only thing I could wear before were eyebrow pomades. I suffer from eczema on my eyelids on top of the dryness and the brown pigment, so my eyelids arent the smoothest when its going through a flareup. and I can't cover the pigment and then end up looking like I got punched in the eye ha. Eyebrow pomades work so well on my eyelid texture, though, and I love using Mac's brow pomade in redhead very light reddish brown and then go on top with lighter powder shades, the problem is there aren't many lighter-coloured brow pomades available out there. And chunky glitters just dont work even on top of that. Anyway, I am happy that these shadows exist, reminds me of Diorr ones, very creamy and buildable. Mature eyelid friendly, too!
@@TaniaBWells oh I love them too, they are just very hard for me to wear most days :( lets hope she makes more pigmented shades that are creamy and have good glitter pay off!
Oh you're validating my thoughts, my Myth palette Is on the way and I haven't swatched any of the palettes yet, but I waited to order because I was doubtful. When I saw the release I felt a bit disapponited because Lisa usually surprises and this colors felt so normal/already seen to me. But in the end I decided to purchase the Myth for the amethist shade and for the passion and knowledge Lisa shared through the years. Yes, it's expensive, so I hope I'll like it, by the way I'm no longer a binge buyer so I prefer spend my money for something that has a meaning like Lisa's products. You have also the Lisa's calming power!! Thanks for your accurate review. 💆♀️💄😊
Great job on the Myth palette! Your eye looks were beautiful on all the palettes. I like your ranking and honest feedback on the palettes. Thank you for reviewing all the palettes! 😊❤️
Beautiful videos Tania! Definitely loving this palette the best, I may grab it. However I do wish she’d sell empty palettes so I could purchase her mattes individually…
I was looking forward to this video. I ordered this one so I can't wait to try it. Your look came out so beautifully. I'm a dark tan complexion and I think I would use that lightest grey on the lid with the darker shades on the outer parts for an all matte look.
The shadows look beautiful on you! I am going to pass on this collection I am still using my ND retro glam and dream palettes and Mario's I have so many new ones ABH Rose Gold and Nouveau and so many more as we makeup addicts do. I feel like her color stories are gorgeous but I like a little bit more bang in my color not too crazy and I always go in with a light hand and build up but watching you I think these colors were meant to be light. GREAT video series you did on each palette and thank YOU so much for the time you put into this.
After watching many reviews I ordered the Myth Palette and Enchantment lipstick and liner. The colors are the only ones I do not have in my collection. Thank you for your amazing reviews Tania! 🙏💞
Thank you for your honesty, Tania! This is why I love your channel so much! Your my fav and we share the same skin tone and esthetic. You’re appreciated! ❤ Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Great review Tania ! The only palette that order is the Vega. I am happy with it. Wanted something can use every day and not just for special occasions lol I already have a lots other palettes for that purpose and I don't use them often. Neutral kind of gal here but Myth and Sorcery are beautiful 😍 maybe I will get them later on....
Hi Tania, thank you for your review of the Vega eyeshadow palette (I also bought this one :D). I do love the eyeshadow palette and I have been using it for a few days now but I also get that same "muddy" feeling if you blend too much with these eyeshadows. I love the formulas and the feel of the eyeshadows but I am also struggling with blending them and with getting enough color (it takes long but you can build up the color if you want to). For me the biggest disappointment is the price... I bought the Natasha Denona Glam Palette for about the same price (I got it on sale) and I think I still get a lot more use from that product than I will from the Vega palette. On top of that, its only 6 colors in the Vega palette as apposed to 15 colors in the ND Glam Palette. And what makes it worse for me is that buying the individual shadows costs more than buying a palette itself (€59 for a full palette and €84 for 6 eyeshadow refills). Honestly, I prefer the liquid lurex eyeshadows that she has! I also bought the duchess and sorcery true velvet lipsticks and I love those colors! Lisa always stuns with her lipsticks!
@@TaniaBWells I have been playing around with the Vega palette a bit more and I will say I do love the formulas in this palette and I think I am learning how to use it properly. :D So even though it is pricey its still really beautiful! :)
Very nice! It looked great even before you added the shimmer on the lid. Just the brown shadow with the blue liner would be a nice daytime look, then kick it up for evening with the shimmer colors.
I own Vega and Sorcery and I love them. I am very fair and cool toned so there is not much eyeshadow for me out there. Curently my workhorse is/was Pats Mothership 1. For everyday and special occasion. I like the LE shimmers more as they stick (on my eyes) and I do not need glitter glue like for Pats shadows. On top very little to no fallout. Last but not least the shadows do exactly what I want in a very short amount of time. For me less pigment which I can build up is easier and the looks are "beautifying" and very pretty. And I love the tiny compact, hated using with the big Mothership everyday.
I’m very curious to try these. I won’t purchase until the new year but in the meantime it’s helpful to hear thoughts and opinions. I would be most dawn to your top 3 even before you ranked them. Bottom line for me is how they look on mature eyelids, and fortunately for you, that isn’t something you need to think about at this stage. I don’t want wimpy shimmers but I also don’t want Pat McGrath either, just a happy medium. I like your style and the way you do your makeup and thank you for all the consideration you took in this series. 😘 My name is also Tania so we have that in common as well as our love of beauty 😊
So beautiful dear Tania!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Gonna watch the others very soon, one other seen, still 2 to go, so that is really wonderful and relaxing!!!! This is not so much my colourstory but looks gorgeous on you!!!!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
Thank you for this video! The palettes are gorgeous May I ask what microphone you use for your videos? Your sound is super clear and pleasant to listen to. Thanks 🥰 kisses from 🇫🇷
I bought cinnabar and muse and struggle with them SO much. Lifting any of the product with my finger or brush is such hard work and turned my quick makeup routine into a full-on nightmare 😂 I’m not afraid to say I really really don’t rate these palettes at all and if I could get my money back I absolutely would
Do you feel the shimmers in these are similar to the shimmers in the Mario palette? I think they're both relatively colorless in base, though the Mario seems to have a bit more pigment.
Hi Tania! Great review and looks with all of the pallets. Although the Vega and Myth are my favorites, I am going to pass at this time. However, I think I am going to pick up a couple of her lipticks.
I think I need to give Makeup by Mario a huge apology for being one of many who complained about his 12 pan pallette being $68 dollars, then here comes Lisa with a 6 Only pan pallette for the same price. I was extremely disappointed receiving my palette and it felt so cheap and lightweight, the only thing that makes it look luxurious is the gold color. The shades blend anyway into thin air, it sticks on initially but as soon as you take a brush to blend the color is gone it's a revolving door off add shade, blend, gone, re-add shade, blend gone etc .. overall very disappointed 😞
I get that! The packaging could be better for the price.. and for me the formulas are not consistent. Some work so well and some are just fading away..
Do you still use this one? I wanted the moonlight, but seeing how similar those look, curious what you would think. Also maybe even compared to a cool toned one from YSL and the ND glam? (I have the ND glam and am trying to figure out which one to get)
@@TaniaBWells I have to correct myself, it's "only" 59 Euro, not 69. But I still think 30 Euro is appropriate, considering it's only 6 shades, maybe up to 40 Euro but not more. I find it a little sad her products are so expensive, there is also never a sale.
Thank you for sharing...as you stated, different people, different opinion and that is ok 🥰 I ❤️ these, for me they are my perfect daytime palletes, easy to work with and timelesly beautiful. I got to the hype of PMG and bought 1 large palette, but its not for me 😪 ...its way too much pigment and work, but beautiful for evening or special events. So I have place for each, but LE really stole the show for me ❤️
I did'nt like my Myth palette. Lack luster. The shimmer glittery shade was not good. I will not buy again her powder eyeshadow. Really like the liquid ones. Overall, I think she's too expensive.
I won't be buying them because I can tell I'm not going to like her metallic/ shimmer formulas all that much. Also the colour palettes are boring to me.
I just found your channel and am in awe! I love how in-depth your reviews of these palettes are! It was incredibly helpful, especially since I was torn as to what to get. I ended up ordering Vega and Myth based on your reviews ❤ I’ve been curious about her Velvet lipsticks but haven’t ordered them as I have very dry lips. The one I wanted was sold out, so I took that as a sign to keep holding off on that formula for a while (though I did order one of the Luxuriously Lucent lipsticks in the meantime).
@@TaniaBWells Thank you so much ❤️ I absolutely love the palettes. LE did an incredible job with them. They create elegant and sophisticated looks, and the formula is great to work with. I like that I can keep looks soft or build them up a bit more. I’m having so much fun with them!

Thank you Mimi❤️
After watching many reviews I ordered the Myth Palette and Enchantment lipstick and liner. The colors are the only ones I do not have in my collection. Thank you for your amazing reviews Tania! 🙏💞
I think you will love Myth Palette! It’s stunning!
Thank you for your honesty, Tania! This is why I love your channel so much! Your my fav and we share the same skin tone and esthetic. You’re appreciated! ❤ Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
❤️❤️😘
Seara faină mulțumesc mult pentru postarea făcută să auzim numai de bine pupici 🌺🌺🌺
I think Vega is perfect for you and it’s really nice quality.
I agree with you! The price seems so high for what you get…
@@TaniaBWells I have been playing around with the Vega palette a bit more and I will say I do love the formulas in this palette and I think I am learning how to use it properly. :D So even though it is pricey its still really beautiful! :)
I did a similar look yesterday with my Mario ethereal palette. I loved it.
❤️❤️
Very nice! It looked great even before you added the shimmer on the lid. Just the brown shadow with the blue liner would be a nice daytime look, then kick it up for evening with the shimmer colors.
I honestly preferred it without shimmer, cause I love that all matte look🥰
I’m so glad you like them. I think the two that you have are really wonderful!
❤️❤️ that so cool! I do think these shadows work very well for mature eyes for sure! There is something very forgiving to some of these shimmers.
Thank you! Happy Late Thanksgiving AnneMarie❤️
Your reviews are the best! 😘
Oh, thank you so much❤️
Great video!
Nabla has up to -60% !!! Got myself the side by side palette and some nude lip crayons 🤤☺️
Oo, that’s amazing! The side by side palette is one of my favorites.
Are you able to dupe Vega? How close are the mattes to ND Glam or Victoria Beckham’s Tuxedo and Signature?
I don’t have the Tuxedo or Signature from VB but I do have the ND. I think there are colors in there that are very similar!
Thank you for this video! The palettes are gorgeous
May I ask what microphone you use for your videos? Your sound is super clear and pleasant to listen to.
Thanks 🥰 kisses from 🇫🇷
I use and Elgato Wave 1 ❤️
I bought cinnabar and muse and struggle with them SO much. Lifting any of the product with my finger or brush is such hard work and turned my quick makeup routine into a full-on nightmare 😂 I’m not afraid to say I really really don’t rate these palettes at all and if I could get my money back I absolutely would
Yeah.. I haven’t reached for them much at all lately.
Such a helpful video! Thank you!
❤️❤️
How do you think these compare to Wayne Goss? I’m thinking of getting something from one of the lines for an everyday work look.
Hm.. I only have on Wayne Goss palette. I think the Lisa Eldridge are more creamy, the mattes, but i like the shimmer/topper from Wayne goss better!
Do you feel the shimmers in these are similar to the shimmers in the Mario palette? I think they're both relatively colorless in base, though the Mario seems to have a bit more pigment.
I think they are quite different. The Lisa Eldridge are much softer and less impactful. Also the toppers are much more intense in Makeup by Mario
@@TaniaBWells Ah, thank you so much. I love Mario's, so I probably won't like Lisa Eldridge's version if it's less intense.
Love it!!❤
❤️❤️
Hi Tania! Great review and looks with all of the pallets. Although the Vega and Myth are my favorites, I am going to pass at this time. However, I think I am going to pick up a couple of her lipticks.
You don’t need these palettes, truly! I’m sure you have some in your collection that are similar to these!
@Tania B. Wells yes I do and I need to declutter🙂 Have a beautiful Sunday!
If you think the case feels cheap, then your sense of taste is bizarre.
Do you still use this one? I wanted the moonlight, but seeing how similar those look, curious what you would think. Also maybe even compared to a cool toned one from YSL and the ND glam?
(I have the ND glam and am trying to figure out which one to get)
I don’t think you need them all. Colors are similar, it just depends on the texture that you’re looking for
Tania, i’m kinda obsessed with your sweater 😅 Can i ask where you got it?
It is from Free People❤️
VEGA GAS FINALLY RESTOCKED AND I SNATCHED IT UP DANG FAST!!
Me too!! 🎉🎉🎉
I got the myth palette used on ebay for 25 Euro and I love it. Nevertheless, paying 69 Euro (I live in Germany) is just crazy.
Nice!!!

So I have place for each, but LE really stole the show for me ❤️
I’m so glad they work for you! I am loving the Myth and Vega so much ! Those two I see myself using over and over!!
I did'nt like my Myth palette. Lack luster. The shimmer glittery shade was not good. I will not buy again her powder eyeshadow. Really like the liquid ones. Overall, I think she's too expensive.
I get that, she is more of a luxury makeup at this price range for sure
@@TaniaBWells Thank you for your review! Your eye makeup was stunning!!!🥰
Thanks I don’t buy either one
Welcome to the Channel! So glad you are here❤️ How do you like the palettes? Did you receive them?
@@TaniaBWells Thank you so much ❤️
I absolutely love the palettes. LE did an incredible job with them. They create elegant and sophisticated looks, and the formula is great to work with. I like that I can keep looks soft or build them up a bit more. I’m having so much fun with them!
