Loving your video's lads. Some of the best on TH-cam. That rock in the bag crack made me laugh 😂

Yet another first class video, not surprisingly.
And may i say what an exceptionally stuningly beautiful lsland we live in, and to think a humongus glacier left such a scar on this tiny island for us to enjoy at all levels.
    Stunning video footage and vista's
Nice that you put humour into these vids,
I just knew Keith was not at one with the tent hoarses for courses ay Keith.
    Two questions for you lads.
1/ do you ever use a nap and compass in case of extream weather ie fog / and other eliments that might hinder you.
2/ do yo nominate a leader who has the final say when and if things might go wrong.
    Thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Keep doing what you all do so well.

Thanks Al, glad your enjoying the vids. Unbelievable what we have on our doorstep isn’t! 🙌
And your spot on re the tent, all about personal preference at the end of that day and what’s right for you.
To answer your questions, we don’t currently use a map and compass and mostly use online maps whether it’s OS Maps or an app called MapsMe, however we are going to be looking more into it this year as it’s a valuable skill to have especially in bad conditions as you mentioned.
We never really have a leader, we make any decisions together. However if someone has better knowledge of the area or particular route, then naturally that’s the person to listen to.
Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated 👍

Hi there big fan of the videos amazing scenery and amazing editing each video is made to such a high standard. What montane jacket has Keith got on in this video, it looks sort of like the montane extreme jacket?

Really happy to hear you are enjoying that vids, thanks for the kind feedback as well, it’s really appreciated. Good eye! It is a montane however it’s an older model prism jacket, probably about 10 years old. You can still get prism jackets, the design has just slightly changed over time. All the best - BR

What happened to the Helm 2?

No matter how much we love a tent we enjoy cycling through other alternatives. We may have just swapped it for another wild country at the exact same weight, but a proper 4 season tent 👀 keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks, we think this is definitely flying under the radar and may just be a Helm killer. All the best - BR

@@borderraiders if its another wild country then that could only be the blizzard. I would have thought panacea but it's heavier. I've swapped my helm 2 for a Northern Lite 2, lighter, stronger and bigger. If you're looking for a cheap and very strong tent have a look at the Vango apex geo. I've got the mirage pro 200, which was it's predecessor. Utterly bomb proof and cheap enough not to fret about in crap conditions.

Bang on the money mate, we are impressed! We’ve picked up the blizzard and have been really enjoying it at the moment. Ah nice the panacea looks like a cracking tent, looks like it’s took what mate the Helm such a great tent and built on it. Thanks for the recommendations. All the best - BR

Mis-sold womens boots, food reviews, great drone shots, and pranks. This vid has it all lol.. Great trip lads. Red Pike is stunning, we recently went on a hike there and intend to go back and camp in the area!
