Honestly im loving it. My son is 2 in 2 days and seeing alfie reminds me how much my boy has grown and loving to see tom be an amazing dad.

Found a life hack with milk bottles! Fill them with warm water and empty and the bottle roles up. Even less space in the bin! 😏

As a kid, i had a friend who lived across the street from my aunt and uncle that i always visited after Christmas. Her family would chop up their christmas tree and use the branches and needles as kindling, and made little fire starters from pine needles wrapped in cheese cloth !

I've loved your vlogs for years Tom, all the way back to when you first moved into your LA apartment. I have been going to the gym for years but prior to going I shattered my shoulder and collarbone in an accident and always struggled with overhead exercises especially that involved the use of my shoulders. But joining the gym and prioritising strength and mobility in my shoulders has been a lifesaver, they still click and hurt occassionally but they're so much better than they were! Good Luck on this new journey, I look forward to seeing it!
After a bike accident 8 years ago my shoulder has always given me troubles but frequent exercise has also kept my shoulder pain free, aslong as you listen to your body and ease off when it starts to hurt and not puah through your shoulder will feel better with the clicking

Hey Tom I also had a bad clicking shoulder a few months ago and found the physio wasn’t doing much to improve it, but since going back to the gym and doing free weights my pain and discomfort has pretty much entirely gone away. So you’re making a good move by starting mate, hopefully it does the trick for you also!

I've had a messed up shoulder that requires surgery, but it hasnt stopped me going to the gym! Yeh it hurts sometimes, but find the motivation and you wont even notice it, i promise

Having the same struggles with starting to exercise. Was really consistent a couple of years ago, just basic stuff, core strength training, running etc. But haven't had the energy/motivation lately. So maybe I'll join you in getting back to my own health & fitness journey. PS off roading stressed me out but thank goodness for Alfie, my heart rate has resumed to normal lol
I started the gym more than a year ago as programming isn't the best for physical activity. You'll see pretty quick growth in the first months but it will slow, so expect it before you hate it. It really is the best thing I've done as a young 21 year old and has seriously helped me stay healthy and most importantly, happy. You can have a healthy mind without a healthy body and you'll notice the difference immediately. Good Luck

Fitness goals sounds great use Alfie as your “WHY”. My advice is to just do an activity you enjoy so it doesn’t feel like a chore. Getting your pool fixed to swim or riding with your dad again would be amazing! Good luck with it. If you’re healthy your family will benefit in every way! 👌

the one resone i cheap all my news papers take a sheet scrumple it up set it on top if your home is already warm it will burn hot and fast in the fireplace and it will help with the down draft of the chimney
This video is helping me out quite a lot to see how happy you are with your family my grandmother has had dementia for quite some time now and she just fell yesterday and fractured her hip and they're not able to do surgery on it to repair it so she's going to be in full-time hospice care until her passing which could be a couple days she is my last grandparent out of my mom and dad's side of the family so it's quite surreal and I haven't quite route to my head around it yet

As someone who has just watched about 8 months of vlogs because I was so behind, this was the perfect time to catch up. I am just getting off a back injury that has stoped me from running and going to the gym but tomorrow I will be starting my fitness journey again! Looks like I’ll be doing it with you Tom thanks for the extra motivation. I’m Excited to see the new vlogs now that I’m all caught up!

love that your going to the gym tom just remember that the first couple of weeks to maybe feeling more tired cause your body will be adapting to the change. But once you get into that routine it will feel like second nature.

You won't really have to worry about being tired from going to the gym. At first you'll be tired, but as you keep going and keep up with it, you'll naturally have more energy just from working out and whatnot.
Tom, we’ve met 2017 at the NEC. I’m now 52 years old. You met both my sons.who are now both taller than me and I’m 6foot! All I want to say is enjoy EVERY MOMENT with Alfie because I’m 20 years in and it still seems like yesterday that my 1st son was born !!!!

I can't believe Alfie is already two months old. It feels like it was yesterday when you announced he was coming. The most important thing to remember about the vlogs, is that you are documenting your son's growth as well as making THE BEST vlogs for us. And in the future, your son will be able to see his life when he was younger.
You and Tom together are always awesome, the off-roading was so sick to hear. Also cannot wait to see what happens with the office
I did the tendon in my shoulder and had a similar pain to what you describe. Something that helped me was doing low weight high rep exercises around the area of where the pain is and the muscles will hopefully strengthen the painful area. Hope this helps 👍🏽👍🏽

That defender lives up to its name, the beast from the east. Those ofroading clips are starting to be my highlight of these vlogs, that and seeing Alfie growing up
plant mother here, your bathroom plant has a couple of issues! Yellow leaves can be a sign of overwatering. as it's in a bathroom, a high moisture environment, it might be a bit too wet. It might also need to be repotted, as its growing well but needs more space. Double check the bottom of the pot if it has enough drainage holes, this will help it get rid of excess moisture. Repotting it will also help, i add about five centimeters past the original pot size. hope this helps
Tom. Working out is the answer to fixing your shoulder. Start with stretching every single day. Begin working out with light weight shoulder workouts and gradually increase. I’ve multiple had shoulder injuries…the ONLY answer is stretching and strength training!! The key is going at the right pace! Good luck!! I’m a few years into being consistent in the gym and every single day gets easier and more fun!! Just start and don’t stop!

Anything is good Tom I work out as much as I can with a barbell and bench at home. Just do as much as you can when you can, I aim for 3-4 workouts a week and as a parent of 2 under 2 it works for me also I made myself a goal of 60 push ups a day too which is going well 👌🏻 it all adds up Tom💪🏻

Loving the off road and cant wait to see it on bike. But big safety tip, keep your thumbs out of the inside of the steering wheel. Hit a rock wrong and the kick back through the wheel can easily break your thumbs.

You should build a gym in your cinema room and turn the walls into big mirrors etc get some basic equipment in there or even put a room in the house next door to a fitness area. Would be a cool project

There was one year when I was installing appliances that a guy I worked with wanted to do a huge bonfire after Christmas. We spent two days throwing people's thrown out Christmas trees into the back of the box truck once we were done each job. He even got two other teams of guys to do the same thing. It ended up being 50+ trees for this bonfire and it was massive
Excited to follow along the fitness journey! Would be good for your PT to film clips to not only add to the vlog but document your progress / personal bests! Also... abs are made in the kitchen, so maybe skip the odd Krispy Kreme, Five Guys & other cakes if you wanna succeed 💪
