First down as etienne clearly was on top of the defender going out of bounds almost a full yard past the stick, they marked him a full yard behind the stick. Or the touchdown that was CLEAR as could be reviewed, found not to be a touchdown. The first time in history an unreviewable call was changed because fans threw 100s of plastic bottles on the field and booed. That 1st half really took a lot of the luster off of Texas. They built for this game for years, got themselves into the perfect spot to firmly establish themselves as the best team in the country, then they go out and look like dog shit for 45 out of the 60 minutes. Maybe a few less celebrities and a little more blood sweat and tears?
What have they don’t at any point this year that quality’s them to be number one? Beat a below .500 Michigan team? Beat G5 teams? They’re literally the Cowboys of NCAAF. Hyped up preseason and beat up a few bad teams that they’re already suppose to beat and then lose to actual contenders. Nothing changed when Texas came to the SEC. They struggled and choked again and again in the Big 12, you think they’re going to show better results in a superior conference? 😅
I don't think the Longhorns played like dog shit, but I do feel like Texas missed a few plays. I am not saying Texas would have won the game but I think you would feel a bit different if they had only lost by one or two. Here's my case: 1. Dropped touchdown in the first quarter- the running back drops a screen pass with absolutely NO ONE in front of him for at least 20 or 25 yards. I feel like Texas could have put it in the endzone with four tries. 2. Late in the 3rd quarter, Texas had Georgia backed up to the five or six. The Dogs made a wide open conversion. That drive ended up in a TD for Georgia. Last but not least- who TF is that punter for the Longhorns? That guy was terrible last night. The Dogs got start drives in plus territory all night. That matters.

Two things I haven't seen discussed yet about this game (with good reason - the referees deserved every bit of criticism coming to them): Georgia had helmet communication issues early on in the game. Now, I'm not saying that this was intentional by Texas, but I didn't see that Texas had the same issue to overcome. Even bigger, though, was seeing how these coaches reacted to their quarterbacks' poor play. Smart defended Beck in the post game interview, saying that he'd been given a ton of undue criticism by the media and other outside voices and added that he admired the composure that Beck showed. But Sarkesian showed that if you put up a poor performance, you'll get benched for the hyped up prospect sitting on the bench. Aside from caving to outside pressure, Sark doesn't seem to understand what that says to any potential high school prospect considering Texas. Kirby on the other hand realizes that he's not just speaking ABOUT Carson Beck with his comments, he is speaking TO his next quarterback.
The headphones issue doesn’t work in favor of Texas cause if one team headphones go out then the other team can’t use on field communication either. Just helping with clarification on that.
@@tankcommander33 Garbage is a strong word. He's had a bad stretch of games, sure, but look around the country to see how low average quarterback play has dropped (even the NFL has this issue) and then tell me honestly that Beck should be tossed aside.

Yes sir where u play 5 stars every week w 4.3 speed 😂
Here's my case:
Yeah they were ranked number 1 for a minute but in no way were they really ‘the best team in the country’ imo
@@michaelof2000you don’t know your history if you don’t understand that Texas is a blue blood program. They had a down stretch for about a decade but I don’t know any program that hasn’t. Do you think Georgia was always this good, Alabama? No, they weren’t. So shut your mouth, casual.

Two things I haven't seen discussed yet about this game (with good reason - the referees deserved every bit of criticism coming to them):
Georgia had helmet communication issues early on in the game.
First off Beck is garbage. We have no backup qb. We have a RB that's a blocker, runner and WR.
The headphones issue doesn’t work in favor of Texas cause if one team headphones go out then the other team can’t use on field communication either. Just helping with clarification on that.
@MastersinNexs it works in favor if it's planned. All the ref issues, bottle throwing and headsets

@@OrangeUaLemon yea but if we had a decent drive to kill the clock it should’ve only been about 5 minutes on the clock. That’s all I’m saying, we got no business throwing 3 straight times and stopping the clock
