They didn't murder any guards in Plunder Siege, they did however truly annihilate some brigands that kept harassing them

"Don't encourage him!" Corazon's warning comes too late. Before Johnny knows it, the guild is drunk, Corazon is a drowning chair, Merilwen is sailing away to start a new life, the whole town is awake , a crew is dead, a warehouse is on fire and Prudence is surprisingly less chaotic than usual.

I kinda love how Johnny holds their hands throughout their adventures, and that despite the handholding, they still almost die.
That's the beauty of being a benevolent DM
Right my DM from my first D&D campaign allowed me to roll when I wanted to mess with a computer, it was a 1 epic fail we all died instantly (plus all the people on the planet) and the villian was able to escape and do whatever he wanted till the end of time. The DM was a bit pissed to say the least, it was still around the beginning of the campaign.

I think I fell in love in that moment.
There are 3 types of dnd party’s:
Critical role- professional follows the rules to the letter has a vast world with intricate story
The adventure zone: family dnd that doesn’t follow the rules fully its all about having fun and starts as a disaster but as time progresses gets deeper and deeper
Then theirs oxventures: a fuckig disaster and nothing goes properly and how the resolution is reached no one knows

@@HazeEmry in their second adventure, they were in need of a table to eavesdrop onto Corazon's crew from. They got one by terrifying some fishermen into vacating their table (and kidneys, and bowels). That's the table theft I'm referring to.

Prudence: 👹*"LEAVE THIS PLACE, WE WANT THIS TABLE."*

@@U_C_G the simple answer is that when DMs can create their own monsters, theyre basically always made to mess with players. That's how you get treasure chest mimics.

As someone who follows both OXventure and Critical Role, I'm starting to believe that the word 'chair' is just code for 'plot derailment'.
I think if Egbert had a wisdom score not normally reserved for a woodland critter, he might be a bit worried about becoming a fallen paladin. The only thing that saves him, repeatedly, is that he can't form intent to violate his oaths.
In my headcanon the only reason his god hasn't taken away his powers yet is because they are watching from the higher planes out of morbid curiosity over what he's going to do next, and maybe one day it'll go so far that his church can call a crusade to go stop him.
Does that whole Ikea thing count as positive or negative atonement?

I was in the audience. Before the show started, these people cosplaying Gandalf the grey and Aragorn walked past in the distance and someone in the queue for d+d said "there's a commentator called Bilbo Baggins , I wonder if that's him?" I've been noticed, I thought. Then the conversation started, just to pass the time. 5 minutes later and I'm part of a group of around 8 random strangers all talking to each other. Well done oxbox for making that happen. Bring on the next campaign.

Only just realised this on the rewatch. The ship they sank was, according to Johnny, operated by the same warehouse that they were ransacking, which had paperwork saying Dunekin. Since Dunekin was only making Fairwind style furniture out of evil wood, Corazon did a very good thing sinking that ship and stopping all those evil chairs escaping the town.
