I always like throw Wade in that mix. Yes he's already accomplished a lot as is, but most people don't know he had his meniscus removed in college. Facts they were the 2funnest to watch they were the perfect balance of Flare and Fundamentals
R i p Kobe Bryant! But that's about it put some respect on Penny Hardaway name ASAP. The only player in the 90s to remove Jordan from a playoff run. And don't tell me Jordan was out of shape he'll he averaged 30 in the playoffs matter fact 32. And had games of 55 and so on. Kobe Bryant could not even stop a Penny Hardaway in 2000 who was hobbled with injuries. Kobe is no slouch but Penny what's the next level so sit back on the couch and let me school you better mr. Anfernee Penny Hardaway
you really comparing a young kobe who haven’t even reached his prime yet to a veteran like penny who had the experience and skill. let 06-08 kobe bryant go against him and lets see how he does.
Kobe was only 21 in 2000. Compare 2006 Kobe to the best version of Penny and Kobe washes him easily..
Nick Anderson went against Jordan in that series, Penney was a point guard back then, Nick Anderson was the one who stole it from him at the end of the final game of it I think, Nick was from Chicago he wanted to beat his hometown badly!
Kobe in his prime would destroy Penny. It would not be a contest. 2008 Kobe would spank everyone.
Um Jordan definitely was lol if that playoff win was legit the next year when they met again the magic wouldn’t have gotten swept
Penny's game is more fluid and poetic than Kobe's. Kobe is a one-on-one Assassin. Penny is an Artist. I like Penny better.
???
That's totally false
That's why Penny he's A the hall of fame legend. Except the injuries killed my City an stop his unbelievable play style. As yall see he made the NBA compete on the level yall watch today
Kobe 🙏🏿
That's just Penny personality..... He comes across like that.
Yeah he got like a rondo personality
Nick Anderson was a shell of his former self after 95 finals
You have to understand Penny in that situation. Kobe wasn’t the only top prospect that looked up to Penny at that time. Kobe just that 1 in a million players that turned out to be that 1 great. But in 1994-1995 Kobe was just a high schooler and Penny was a top 5 nba player at that time. Penny wasn’t even looking at college players so I know he wasn’t recognizing high school players. All these so call Kobe fans need to cut it out with they knew he was going to be a legend day one. Those first 3 years of his career it wasn’t great for him. But from 2000 on he became that legend.
Penny Hardaway was great you all see Kobe Bryant with his shoes on you watch Michael Jordan wear his shoes in a playoff game the kid from Memphis Tennessee was great
KOBE!!!
Penny was so nice!!
Penny is bigger, stronger, and faster than Kobe.
the man came to play
these were the days
Penny was playing injured.. No disrespect to KOBE.. He's one of the Great ones. So is penny.
penny's footwork was crazy!
Penny was the Kobe before Kobe. Penny had instant league mvp performance first yr in the league that took Kobe and LeBron yrs to reach. If not injured he’s be in the goat conversation.
Fuck all that! Shaq shouldn’t have bailed out on Penny at all. In fact they would’ve both been MAGIC AND KAREEM of the 90s. But I digress😊
Kobe was a beast. Coach held him back.
Penny had 15 assist and wasn't guarding Kobe that much. Nick anderson was the one getting killed. Penny was holding his own.
That play at 9:43 would be flagrant foul today, and also players involve will act crazy after that🤣 or even flop🤣🤣🤣
Is it a coincidence that once Kobe got better and became a star, the Lakers became a championship contender. Not how dominate Shaq was,he needed Kobe to be great 💯
Ain't a revenge game if the other guy drops 20+ with 14 assists and like 8 dunks one of them on you and this is AFTER HE'S WASHED FROM INJURIES ✌
Facts .
20+ with 14 assists and 8 dunks just to lose lol.

@@JR-kv6ez chooooo chooooo we hoppin on ya momma train right now in the bak lemme kno if u want us to tag u in
it sound nasty but u might get down like dat i donno
Now I can see why Tracy McGrady was more inspired by Penny than Michael Jordan. It even shows and Tracy McGrady style of play. I bet Kobe Bryant was thinking to himself "this is deja vu".
Kobe and Penny in the same team would be amazing!!
I remember watching this game at home. They kept showing Dr J in the crowd as he was I believe the GM of the Magic at the time. Bob Costas made a comment about Kobe dad letting Dr J hold Kobe as an infant now watching him torch the team he’s managing 😂
Commentators never acknowledged how really good kobe was in this game because everything revolved around shaq its really fucked up
Great game young Kobe playing with tremendous heart showing early on that Mamba mentality and Penny showing even injured and maybe even playing at 75 percent he was a great player and honestly i don’t think he disrespected Kobe at all he was asked a question in he gave great advice was he arrogant probably and he explained why dude was huge back then who wouldn’t let that sh!t go to their heads.
When the nba was real. This era is garbage, no defense.
Penny one of the greatest to help create the Mamba Mentality😂
To be honest it was injury's but depression from being in the finals one year and your #1 leaves that will hurt you. Go from beating Jordan going to the finals and your big man leaves he was hurt more than injury's sometime it's mental
Watching penny hurts me that his talent was wasted, he is alone with Grant…
Kobe is too talented
Kobe was just 7 yrs younger than Penny obviously the better career. Kobe helped Shaq win rings,Penny didnt had their chance in 1995 finals.
if i told young kobe what would happen 20 years later, he would still be this good and hardworking?
The turn around fadeaways that was Micheal Jordan Kobe studied absorbed mjs advice and went on to have a mamba career, a year before Phil Jackson came to the Lakers
M.J his Airness's 2 Great Students battling each other..
That was Jordan like by kobe
very much
Mamba goat
The game where Kobe became black mamba. You can see how Kobe studied Micheal Jordans game and moves, penny was a legend until his knees gave out
