Good to get a win away from home against a top team, with a few starters still on international duty. Pleased for chesum as captain. Hope to see the backs playing exciting ball like the Aussies of old.
I really thought this last try would have been overturned. How are you supposed to defend a player diving under his own teammate in front of him? It would have been harshed but this is an obstruction to me.
I don’t like where the game is headed, there has to be a better way to mitigate risk otherwise we have to choose “Acceptance” as an ex player of course I worry about my brains turning to Rowntrees Jelly (other brands are available)
The red was never a red. Yellow at worst. The final try was blatant obstruction. A player in front prevented the defenders from tackling. I think the try scorer may even have touched him, in which case it is offside.
As great as Mani FW is, I think he has a bit of a bad habit of not passing. He eventually got the offload away for Exe first try but butchered a couple of other opportunities. Anyway, still an awesome player
From the TV angle it would suggest that, although I wouldn’t class it as “under” because the player was more or less on top of the other ruck. And the pick and go looked like it went in fairly normal fashion. the ref clearly had a better view because he didn’t even question it.
The drive to the line should have been a Pen exeter as he goes through his own players (socks!), therfore Offside/obstruction as the defenders can not make a tackle. NOT a supporter of either team!
Leics look a really dull slow lumbering forward pack dominated side with bottom 4 prediction.Chiefs have lost more than 10 class first team Intl players this past 2 seasons so are in re build phase so will require patience esp without Slade until dec😮 Tough loss to take boyz
@@24hr_rugby_jake England has a bigger population mate so I will give you the crowd stat. The teams aren’t better and this game proves they aren’t more entertaining either. Plus there’s the issue of teams just falling apart. Ask Wasps, Worcester and London Irish. Falcons will be next to go.
@@FJM992 doesn’t matter if we are bigger (italy and south Africa are bigger actually), still if you do it by team and the city they are based in, the urc teams are doing pretty poorly attendance wise. Well when prem teams came up against urc ones in the champions cup last year it was like 13 wins to 8 and half of those were leinster so yes the prem is stronger. Admittedly, this game was dreadful, as was the sale v quins one. And the urc games this weekend were great. But overall last year i would say the prem games are more entertaining. Yeah they fall apart because they’re independent clubs. Take away unions’ funding for urc teams and at least 12 collapses within 3 months 😂

At least there is a record of the last try with this, for some reason both the BBC radio recordings stop 2mins before the end of the match…muppets!
Maybe the storm last night disrupted it?
Please stop spoiling the replay by giving it away in the title. Just the fixture and date will do.
I've been saying this for YEARS, they won't listen
Come on, how does "last minute winner" spoil and give away the result?
It doesn't say who won and by how much!
No this is a lot better

Cheika on the march again. A great coach
This try won me £2700
Great to see Cheika in the prem, best league in the world!

Either that or going into your own player who is ahead of you is offside.
Great try. Cry about it.
@@nicksutton4094oh please. Clearly illegal try. This said, there was still advantage
I didn’t pick up on that but when you point it out yeah clearly obstruction
Player was part of a formed ruck

Gopd to see Volavola back playing quality rugby

The "obstructing" player isn't obstructing because he's part of a former ruck
Formed*
@@Jimlad0116 But the player who scored the try detached from the ruck to dive over.

Well played boys, next game a win!
Ref had a 'mare

yeah he's still got a lt of progress to make. Mad to think he's only 21 tho. He's got plenty of time to brush up on those aspects of his game
Yeah he's some talent. Shame to lose him, very strong runner.
He looked to pass, but the 8 hadn't ran the outside and the 21 was too far back, not FW's fault they can't keep up with him.
Lets goooooo leicester
smart player at the very end by magic mike
Ref was really hopeless too.Leics centres made a number of head high tackles but only penalised late on.😮
.........eeerrr, when Reffell scored the try he burrowed under his own player (16) - should the try have stood?

So many sour grapes from Exeter fans
huge obstruction on the last try

Refs destroy the game
Watching Exeter lose in that fashion is perfect. Ha ha ha.

That slow lumbering team won…. Sounds like excuses to me for the chiefs not turning up.
What a dull first half. No wonder they want to join the URC 😂
And yet the crowds are bigger, the teams better and games more entertaining in the premiership 😂
