We love the White Night parties. Ironically for us there is so much focus on food. We’ve both had gastric bypass surgery so after a couple bites, we’re full and done. Dessert isn’t even an option. For us the attraction is the singing, dancing and the energy . Recently on a B2B Scotland and Ireland on Quest we got to enjoy 2 White Nights. So much fun. We were up dancing and partying much later than any other night. Absolutely love Azamara. Thanks for your videos that brought back warm, fond memories.
@@dreadpirate2109 glad someone shares our love for them - best night on the cruise! My focus is pretty much all on the desserts😂 but the partying after is great too. Just wish they’d keep it going longer outside when in warm climates😍 thanks for watching 🌞🛳️

Very nice video. Thanks. We recently experienced the white night on Azamara Pursuit in Croatia and the content looked very similar. Also same great food.
Yes Beth , Those doors are REALLy heavy ! The sound engineer stole the show with us too when we had the white night/ Greek islands last month. White night provides a nice party atmosphere , if you have a bit of self control and don't eat touch much. I fail badly as you eat with your eyes , oh that looks nice :) Azamara offer a great cruise package at a competitive price. Yes the ships are old , as long as you accept this , you will enjoy the experience. I for one will keep returning to azamara . Along with my other favourite (for different reasons : Celebrity). :)
@@theapprentice2298 couldn’t have said it any better!! Have tried Oceania? We’re thinking of doing that for our next one as they’re supposedly similar to Azamara and want to try something new.
@@BethandDavidCruise . I was planning to try our first transatlantic with oceania Nov 2025 . After listening to several reviews by other cruise critic couples :) The claim "the best food at Sea" seemed to fall flat on its face. Also The nightime ativities seemed limited. I don't want to be inbed with my cocoa at 10pm after taking my tablets. We like to party a bit :) so it looks like Celebrity for us . (I have not been paid for this review ) :) LOL
@@theapprentice2298 hahah hmm maybe we’ll have to try it out for you then and give our verdict 😆 yes the only thing I’ve heard about it negatively is the entertainment is very limited. I’m a bit of an old person in a young body though, I don’t mind being in bed by 10! Can’t speak for david though, despite the quietness on our vlogs, he’s actually the social one! Celebrity is always a good fall back in any case.

Were there any other people on your cruise of similar age to you? I don’t think they would mind too much if not as both are a bit nerdy and get on well with an older age group!
@@karenparry367 thank you! We definitely recommend Azamara. We were surprised to find there were quite a few younger people, families and couples. Whilst it’s mostly older passengers, everyone we meet on Azamara has such a young soul to them, and as said above, there were enough young people for us to not stand out too much. Do you usually cruise and if so which line?
