I had also similar experience. When they added the ROU Osa i was scared (and little bit angry) that they didn't choose the HUN Strela-10. When i asked people opinion about it, they said now i can forget it that they will add it because of close br or Germany also had Strela-10 and still don't have and as a bigger nation they have priority to get it, not italy or no need for more copy paste vehicles. Of course next update i get my lovely Hun Strela-10. Now i know, i only need patience and i will have all my hungarian "copy paste" vehicles, like Nimród what is the L-62 (Hopefully).

Because if they make it yet another 💩 bomber I think we can safely say they are trying to wind down and kill off the BP as between the Shitlef and the 177 RP Pinata I've not seen this level of not caring about BPs on my discord since the whole thing started.

my biggest problem with subtrees is that the tree itself is copy-paste but any indigenous vehicles get locked as premiums. For example the Pyorremyrsky, the only Finnish indigounous aircraft, is a premium. Any indigenous aircraft should be tech tree, otherwise it is just filling the roster up with lazy copy-paste. I also think that these subtrees that consist of copy paste vehicles are detrimental to the game as a whole, especially sim battles, and they also bloat the tech trees with unnecessary crap that discourages people from playing more than one tree.

If Gaijin actually did care about the state of the game, they would have added niche vehicles to fill tech trees a long while ago, let alone things like the Keen Sight rendering issue that has been raised, or SP costs of ground ordnance for planes in Ground RB. The fact they brush aside concerns under the premise of “need more data”, let alone *if they addressed such topics in the first place* is why people are mad. Gaijin has backpedaled in the past, but if events like PlayStation and Helldivers, or Ubisoft are happening with ever increasing frequency, it’s only a matter of time till they get their heads next on the chopping block. The core concept works, and nothing can match it on the market. But players are done with devs sitting on their hands and refusing to take initiative.

i personally hate sub nations because they water down tech trees with it. I understood why fininsh and hungarian where added but Netherlands in french where completely pointless. I for same reason i hate adding Indian vehicles as back door to introduce soviet tanks to British tech tree .
I don't mind the subtree's, I fucking hate how it's 90% copy-paste vehicles. Love the British-South Africa one for the actually diversity it brought. Most the others have 1-2 cool vehicles, then just generic filler from other nations.

The moaning about the OP strela vs Mid Stingers was getting annoying, so they simply added it to more nations and left the stats unchanged as opposed to "copy paste" stinger settings to strela missiles.

I love to play air arcade 11.0-12.0 jets. My favorite plain is the F4E with two gun pods and 4 aim9J 4 aim7e2. This is my favorite game mode. I have top tier jets but I get shot down more than I shoot other people down thanks to the missles that can't be countered.
Any time I do play warthunder nowadays (not too often) I just play the me262 or SK60 and that about it, since gaijin butchered 7.0 Sweden ground I rarely play ground anymore. Even whilst I've finished Sweden (except for 11.0+ ground)
Top tier jets have more room for new content, while top tier ground is entering a content desert, unless we start getting future concept vehicles or just entirely new mechanics. Not necessarily a bad thing, I would love to see an AbramsX or alike in the game.
Why add the strela and OSA to Britian which India operates when the Rapier exist? Germany makes sense since they operated that vehicle but Britian? No and this is problem with a lot of additions wich causes problems for both the game and the community.
Rapier range is of 8km, meanwhile OSA has 10. Strela range is smaller but the missiles are fire and forget. Rapier is not even a vehicle, it has to be towed.

To be fair on South Africa, it took them like what, 5 years to add Fox and Scimitar? It's the Richelieu, you can see the 4 barrels on those front turrets, and the superstructure is exactly the same. It could be the Jean Bart but it was only finished post war with more modern AA and fire controls.
New update = More suffering for console players 😂 When they add new mechanics we can’t map them in, i mean already we have to rely on virtual instructor to turn is with the flaps because if its mapped to the right stick.. pointer aim gets fucked. If we switch it to the other then throttle is fucked. Then if you swap Throttle up and down to the triggers you then have to map in new buttons for guns. And a lot of controls end up colliding. Console needs some heavy improvements.. and i know people will say the games meant for PC… but make it console game and make the main part of a console.. the controller pretty much obsolete. At that point we may aswell get a PC, but then to my old point, why add it to console if i should’ve just played on PC. We need more handicaps or atleast console only servers.. and then PC CAS players won’t have to suffer with the aim tracking console gets, even when you plug in a keyboard and mouse on console, the automatic tracking still happens and me personally don’t think it’s fair on PC players. But we don’t have free range of movement and switch direction instantly because when you look really fast, it actually slows down first, then stops then starts moving in the direction you want which is an L for controller players. I noticed that the ship has 2 quad turrets on the front of it. The only ship that I know well that has those is the HMS King George IV.

@@charlieharris2864 agree on that. personally if gaijin doesn't want to add them to PVP then have them for custom games or PVE would be fine. one of those things keep hearing TEC whining about the Kranvang and others (which i would love to have as well) being not fully completed but we have an idea of it being built. or just fake tanks like the KT105. that would be somewhat better than having them locked forever now which pisses me off as i never got the Kt105 or the panther 2

It's the Richelieu, you can see the 4 barrels on those front turrets, and the superstructure is exactly the same. It could be the Jean Bart but it was only finished post war with more modern AA and fire controls.
Bismarck had 4 2 gun turrets while Richelieu had only two Quadruple turrets

When they add new mechanics we can’t map them in, i mean already we have to rely on virtual instructor to turn is with the flaps because if its mapped to the right stick.. pointer aim gets fucked. If we switch it to the other then throttle is fucked. Then if you swap Throttle up and down to the triggers you then have to map in new buttons for guns. And a lot of controls end up colliding. Console needs some heavy improvements.. and i know people will say the games meant for PC… but make it console game and make the main part of a console.. the controller pretty much obsolete. At that point we may aswell get a PC, but then to my old point, why add it to console if i should’ve just played on PC. We need more handicaps or atleast console only servers.. and then PC CAS players won’t have to suffer with the aim tracking console gets, even when you plug in a keyboard and mouse on console, the automatic tracking still happens and me personally don’t think it’s fair on PC players. But we don’t have free range of movement and switch direction instantly because when you look really fast, it actually slows down first, then stops then starts moving in the direction you want which is an L for controller players.
They also need to make the smaller nations trees like italy require less RP and SL to buy because 48k rp for a 4.3 vehicle is crazy work
