- In 2008, while trekking through the Peruvian jungle, Ben Fogle endured a harrowing ordeal when he was bitten by a flesh-eating bug, resulting in weeks of hospitalisation and lingering PTSD. Only now, 15 years later, has he decided to return, this time, venturing into the depths of the Congo. Dubbed his most extreme adventure to date, he immerses himself in tribal life, dodges deadly snakes and even tries Congolese wrestling. Ben’s sharing how this jungle journey became his ultimate therapy amidst a 'mental health storm' and a surprising ADHD diagnosis.

I'am India, he's such a nice man , I missed ben fogle and his travelling and adventure,Thank-you for giving shows like WHERE THE WILD MEN ARE WITH BEN FOGLE.
Wonderful program. Thank you Ben for taking me to places I'd never get to, and meeting people who I would never meet. It's been an iinspirational, enlightening and heart-warming journey.
Been a brilliant documentary into the Congo, just finished watching the second episode, the first one last week was epic!. Really enjoyed this one, seeing the apes, and really good seeing Ben dancing, just had to see that. Can't wait to see the final episode next Sunday, seeing tribesman is really good to see how the other half live. It was just beautiful. The gorillas were brilliant. Got to see this, won't be disappointed.
He's such an amazing human being..
❤🎉thank toy. Very much
I have met be a couple of times and he is how you see him on the screen, very polite and friendly. with his part about not being wastefull, he has many times bought goods, taken what he needs and gives the rest to the next person to make sure he only takes what he really needs. genuine character
I watched the Congo episode . Ben Fogle focused on the strong community, living with nature , kind to the environment stuff. What I saw was a tribe of people who live in abject poverty. There were signs of child malnutrition (swollen stomachs) and discussion about assaults and discrimination by drunks from a neighbouring village.
Nice
Dog get this disease in hot country’s from sand flys and there is no cure for them either
