It’s poetic how last game they threw every type of cheese in Wisconsin at you to win, but they get absolutely shut out in the end. Such an epic win and AD deserves an extra orange slice for that performance.
What a nail-biter! I got VERY nervous when his opponent got that double play against him for the bat power-up. SPOILER ALERT: Between Angela and Ernie, they pitched a combined perfect game (no one reached 1st base). They struck out 11 batters between the 2 of them (Angela 9 & Ernie 2). Angela also got an Immaculate Inning in the 1st (3 strikeouts on 9 pitches). Only 7 players actually put the ball in play. Angela's pitching was STELLAR!!!! She also helped her cause with a dinger of her own. She was ON FIRE!!!! Congratulations!!! You earned it!!! Can't wait until next season!!!
Pro tip for next season: Use Luanne Lui, and put her at lead-off and catcher. She is the fastest player in the game, with great contact, so she'll almost always get on base, and she's good to have behind the plate because of her speed. She also has really good pitching stats, in case your starter gets gassed. I've been playing this game all summer (because I'm a theatre actor with nothing else to do during COVID), and I've always played with her. Only lost three games.
