LIVE: View of 10 Downing Street as voters head to the polls

Polls have opened across the country as voting begins in the general election.
A final poll last night predicted that Labour was on course to win the largest majority since 1832 and that the Conservatives were facing a heavy defeat.

You'd think broadcasting democracy in action would rub off in Australia. The bottom line is voters voted VOLUNTARILY. No threat of up to a criminal conviction if a voter chooses to abstain. Its all inspiration driven. Thats the FREE bit in true, liberal & free democracy!
