I really love how respectful they are towards Akaash with his decision cause as much as they talk crap and joke around, they never make fun of him in an immature way for that, cause there is no reason. He chose something very respectable, that alot of people arent able to commit to. And extra respect for how open he is about it in todays dumbed down world.

@@scottbeaulieu13 Oh come on, he was probably half joking by bringing this up as a "reason", because Akaash has also said several times that hes religious (hes a Sikh) and if you really wanna have sex just to have sex, you can find a way no matter how you look like or how little time you have. A decision was made and he probably just meant that he would have gotten married earlier, if he would have had the looks and time. He could have had sex with his wife before marriage too but didnt. I know several people that are, and always were, actually labeled as "hot", who waited until they were married. Some folks just cant imagine that such people still exist and its lovely.

Love this podcast and happy for Akaash! Some honest feedback... the unstabilized camera closeups are a bit much. IMO, I'd rather they just be on a tripod or used less frequently. In any case, f*ck my opinions, keep kicking ass boys!

I was so hype to see Akaash on Rogan. Great to see him getting the shine he deserve.
As a Peruvian born guy who immigrated to the US 25 years ago I get what Schultz is saying you should represent the country that raised you. I am an American citizen and I am proud to be an American citizen I love this country, doesn't stop me from criticizing the things I don't like and I am still proud of being Peruvian. However, I grew up with both cultures, I grew up around Peruvians learning and teaching the dances and I grew up learning about America and becoming an American as well. That said... that bean paste is delicious and the deep fried rice ball with bean paste is fucking delicious.
About that Gu thing... Its not about taking opportunities or jobs from the other country at all. Its about integrity mostly, but also nationality and patriotism. I can't believe they talked about this for 20 mins without getting there. But, dual citizenship means they get a choice for who to compete for. Nobody gets a say in that. There being a lot of money involved does make it juicy and questionable. Most of us would still lose respect for this person. Also, competing in the Olympics definitely is a profession. It's the highest level of sports. There's money involved with sponsorships and rewards and they are working towards it for all their lives.
The real problem is that a lot of people have 2 passports. For different reasons, its been a discussion in Europe for more than a decade.
