I'd set up both monitors to the PC, put them together as a dual monitor setup. Either both horizontal, or 1 horizontal 1 vertical (better) so when and if he streams he can have discord/chat or even youtube playing on the secondary monitor. THEN you can hook up the Xbox AS WELL to the main monitor and he could change the input using windows+p on his keyboard OR with the source button on the monitor and flip between the Xbox and pc This is how I setup my sons xbox/PC setup and he loves it, especially being able to use a dual monitor setup on the PC side of things
