- Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally (RN) party won the first round of France's parliamentary elections on Sunday, exit polls showed, but the final result will depend on days of horsetrading before next week's run-off.

If Marine LP radically tightens immigration controls in France (which I applaud) then this could mean a huge INCREASE in the boats as "asylum seekers" flee France just as Eire has experienced a large influx from England. What will the Labour government do about that?
