This was the first series and shows how they got the show pretty well right first time . The ' facsimile' boulder , good old Frank , was just right being easy to move but an awkward size . They all had very individual ways of approaching it and the studio banter with Gregg and Alex just makes Taskmaster a real treat .
the thing they didn't get right was the number of episodes. With many of the early contestants it is such a shame they didn't get the full 10 episodes.
Hi Nick & Jodie, you have reacted to a few 'Taskmaster' parts so it will take you a long time to see all 18 series, and now you will have more to react to, because next Friday 8th November 2024, Channel 4 is starting a brand new 'Junior Taskmaster' series, where 9 to11 year olds will compete to become the `Junior Taskmaster Champion'. The Junior 'Taskmaster' is Rose Matafeo and her assistant is Mike Wozniak, who have both been contestants on 'Taskmaster'
Some of the most famous boulders in the country, are in my city, although most people think they're in a separate place. The *Cow & Calf Rocks* in *Ilkley, Bradford, West Yorkshire* as seen in many films and TV shows.
Camber sands is a beach in south east England it is a long sandy beach. It resembles places in the middle east, Many eastern films have been shot there. It is also very difficult to reach there is only one long single lane very narrow road in and out. In the summer the traffic jams can be enormous. Nearby is a nuclear power station. To send it to camber sands, if it was a dangerous rock would have been sending it to a safe location. If you could have organised people to evacuate whilst the boulder was on its way.
Las Vegas? So you're telling me that all this time I was thinking you guys lived in one of the Dakotas, you actually lived in Nevada - in Sin City aka Disney World for adults? Here I was worried that the two of you - because it would make sense of anyone living in either of the Dakotas - were probably right-wing Evangelicals.
@Jodi_BoringReviews well, you're just so demure sometimes, but very sweet. And I remember how you used to hate or get grossed out by humor related to... Let's say more mature/bedroom related topics. Firstly, the TASKMASTER is very popular in the UK; also, Romesh and 'little' Alex Horne are well known TV 'faces' - so the driver would have EASILY recognised them/or the programme. I'm surprised Tim didn't throw the boulder in the river and let the river take it away

Guys, it's clearly not a real boulder, how the hell would they move an actual ton weight boulder lol
Judging by how heavy it looks in the clips, probably hollow polyurethane that boulder.
Sculpted polystyrene painted to look like a "boulder", awkward size and shape but lightweight enough to pick up with one hand.
Roisin's lack of effort and urgency in pretty much every task was funny and absolutely infuriating in equal measures.
"I don't like noises"
*smashes keyboard*
It wouldn't be much of a task if you needed a crane to move it. You'd be waiting days or weeks for the crane.
Apparently a childrens version of the program will be starting soon.
This is a great task, because there are seemingly so many ways to approach it. The more you think about it, the more ideas you can come up with.

When I hear camber sands I always think of REVEREND AND THE MAKERS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD song
Thank you yes , I couldn’t think which song I’d heard it 😂
