Tungsten whistle?
that would be expensive af and also its really hard to shape tungsten because it has an increadibly high melting point
It’s unfeasible, but it would be pretty awesome! Like the commenter above was saying, there’s a reason you haven’t seen many instruments made of tungsten. It’s pretty difficult to machine, and it’s rare/expensive enough (I believe) that any “improvements” in the sound wouldn’t be worth the cost and trouble of machining. But if one DID exist.. it would be pretty awesome.
A mysterious maker in China called Rudder is making a Low A. He also makes a very good Low D which is a copy of a Goldie done to a high standard. (It's not big )
