They finally got my girl perfect. The Mohawk, the power increase, and they got rid of the corny dialogue. Storm was finally the goddess she should have been. Then they take away her powers and make you FEEL IT. that was brutal.🥺😭
I think it was, narratively, a smart decision. It's hard to write a compelling story when you got an "omega level" hero. Thus they showed how powerful she is in order to visualise for the viewer the reason why she had to be removed from the narrative. Else it would be the Captain marvel problem all over again.

Had Mike Epps been Officer Jefferson Davis, Donald Glover setup as Prowler Aaron Davis would be evident, let alone 2018, Miles would be 15 & Into the Spideverse

New rockstars you really need to go back and read the 90’s X-men. So much of what happened on the show was based on what was happening in the comics at the time with slight variations. It looks like they’re following the same pattern.
Magneto being the leader in "One Man's Worth" was based on the Age of Apocalypse saga where Magneto led the team and was married Rogue and had a son named Charles with her.
I was impressed with the way Jubilee pushed Wolverine back with her plasma sparks and her dancing animation. I loved seeing Storm wreck those sentinels. There are probably a lot of people who confuse Cyclops' optic blasts with Superman's heat vision.
I like it, I think it could lead to an interesting arc for her. Besides, she probably won’t stay powerless. We’ll get to see plenty of her either later on the season or in the next one.
Soooo many moments that sent literal chills down my spine… when Magneto said “Don’t let me, let YOU down” he meant that shit, and I felt it in my bones lol… that was his fuck around and find out moment 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

As someone who didn't grow up with The Animated Series, But is a Big Fan Of The X-Men, These Two Episodes Were Fantastic!!! It made Me really Happy to see a really Great Cyclops in these Episodes because while I Love The X-Men Movies, Cyclops never got to do that much in them, So It's Nice to see Him Be The Leader that He is! And it was So Sad to see Storm lose her Powers! I hope we do see her again at somepoint because She is Such A Great Character! But Magneto was The Star of These Episodes In My Opinion. To see a Version of Him where He's This Antihero who's Leading The X-Men is So Fascinating! He's such a Great Character! And I Loved the use of "To Me, My X-Men" from both Scott and Magneto. And The Animation was Phenomenal and The Intro with The Iconic Theme Song! These Two Episodes were just Amazing!!! 10/10!!! I'm very Excited to see what Happens Next!!!
I think when Jean had that vision I think she saw Amahl Farouk aka Shadow King. Now with Prof.X out of the picture and Jean distracted with Nathan, its possible that the Shadow King emerged from the Astral plane once more. Storm having lost her powers may go visit her son and then be tempted by the shadow king who may be able to restore her abilities in exchange for something.
I like that theory! Definitely Shadow King has history with Storm when Mijnari was possessed. Could be how Charles comes back in, on the Astral Plane to defend her, too.
I really don't want Magneto to have planned everything. I do think it is fine if he expected rioters to break through and he will have intervene to show his goodwill, but I really want him to genuinely want to protect them all, and would not do something like take away Storm's mutation. The fact that Magneto being able to be redeemed feels important that his crusade was genuine, and the demonisation of freedom fighters who don't do things the cleanest way are not lost.

You are wrong. Omega Level means the apex…the most powerful type of mutant there is in the universe. There is nothing above them. And there are ONLY 15 Omega Level Mutants in the Marvel Universe. Again…only 15. And Storm is one of them, as she is a goddess and the most powerful commander of nature, ever. Jean and Iceman are the other 2 X-Men who are Omega Level and regularly fight with the team. Most telepaths are NOT Omega Level. Professor X is the worlds top telepath and he is not Omega Level. Not even close.

I hear everyone saying "both" episodes but I only seen one and I was up at 3am ..please tell me where to watch it…I’m here for Storm. Omega Level Mutant mean that a mutant whose power is infinite and dominate and unsurpassable even if that OLM passes away. When Magneto passed Polaris nor Joseph was able to take the title. Jean is an OLM "telepath" and Exodus is an OLM "telekinetic" now in the comic Jean and Storm powers cannot be suppressed because of how their powers work and they are able to suppress the power of others as well as Vulcan who’s OLM also. They dominate in their power set but while Jean has nigh-unlimited power and range Professor X still has the most skillful at using telepathy and range is still galactic level with Storm backing this fact during a secret galactic meeting stating that Charles intercepted his Shi’ar daughter’s psychic cry from galaxies away and was already resurrecting her. Storm and Wolverine relationship already happened in the previous one and don’t need to happen again hopefully she goes to Wakanda and hookup with Black Panther before returning.
As a die-hard Cyclops fan (he’s my favorite Marvel character), I think even Scott himself would be perfectly fine with people seeing her as an equal or better leader. And Ororo would scoff at people trying to pit them against each other in the first place. In the comics, Storm knew that Scott just wanted to go and live a quiet life with his family, but could never bring himself to actually give up the X-Men, which he’d been raised by Xavier to devote his entire life to since he was a teen. So she challenged him for it. It wasn’t genuinely a competition like some fans seem to make it out to be. It was her being a good friend and giving him an out that he could accept.

I was impressed with the way Jubilee pushed Wolverine back with her plasma sparks and her dancing animation. I loved seeing Storm wreck those sentinels. There are probably a lot of people who confuse Cyclops' optic blasts with Superman's heat vision.

I like it, I think it could lead to an interesting arc for her. Besides, she probably won’t stay powerless. We’ll get to see plenty of her either later on the season or in the next one.

As someone who didn't grow up with The Animated Series, But is a Big Fan Of The X-Men, These Two Episodes Were Fantastic!!! It made Me really Happy to see a really Great Cyclops in these Episodes because while I Love The X-Men Movies, Cyclops never got to do that much in them, So It's Nice to see Him Be The Leader that He is! And it was So Sad to see Storm lose her Powers! I hope we do see her again at somepoint because She is Such A Great Character! But Magneto was The Star of These Episodes In My Opinion. To see a Version of Him where He's This Antihero who's Leading The X-Men is So Fascinating! He's such a Great Character! And I Loved the use of "To Me, My X-Men" from both Scott and Magneto. And The Animation was Phenomenal and The Intro with The Iconic Theme Song! These Two Episodes were just Amazing!!! 10/10!!! I'm very Excited to see what Happens Next!!!
I think when Jean had that vision I think she saw Amahl Farouk aka Shadow King. Now with Prof.X out of the picture and Jean distracted with Nathan, its possible that the Shadow King emerged from the Astral plane once more. Storm having lost her powers may go visit her son and then be tempted by the shadow king who may be able to restore her abilities in exchange for something.
I like that theory! Definitely Shadow King has history with Storm when Mijnari was possessed. Could be how Charles comes back in, on the Astral Plane to defend her, too.

I really don't want Magneto to have planned everything. I do think it is fine if he expected rioters to break through and he will have intervene to show his goodwill, but I really want him to genuinely want to protect them all, and would not do something like take away Storm's mutation.
The fact that Magneto being able to be redeemed feels important that his crusade was genuine, and the demonisation of freedom fighters who don't do things the cleanest way are not lost.

Earlier he said she’s the closest thing to a Goddess earth will ever witness and he MEANT that. Storm losing her powers was literally the biggest blow to Magneto’s ego because she was a representation of Godhood made flesh in his eyes. The embodiment of what mutant kind could be.

Omega Level means the apex…the most powerful type of mutant there is in the universe. There is nothing above them. And there are ONLY 15 Omega Level Mutants in the Marvel Universe. Again…only 15. And Storm is one of them, as she is a goddess and the most powerful commander of nature, ever.
Jean and Iceman are the other 2 X-Men who are Omega Level and regularly fight with the team.
Most telepaths are NOT Omega Level. Professor X is the worlds top telepath and he is not Omega Level. Not even close.

Omega Level Mutant mean that a mutant whose power is infinite and dominate and unsurpassable even if that OLM passes away. When Magneto passed Polaris nor Joseph was able to take the title. Jean is an OLM "telepath" and Exodus is an OLM "telekinetic" now in the comic Jean and Storm powers cannot be suppressed because of how their powers work and they are able to suppress the power of others as well as Vulcan who’s OLM also. They dominate in their power set but while Jean has nigh-unlimited power and range Professor X still has the most skillful at using telepathy and range is still galactic level with Storm backing this fact during a secret galactic meeting stating that Charles intercepted his Shi’ar daughter’s psychic cry from galaxies away and was already resurrecting her.
Storm and Wolverine relationship already happened in the previous one and don’t need to happen again hopefully she goes to Wakanda and hookup with Black Panther before returning.
In Age of Apocalypse, Rogue and Magneto were a couple and had a kid. Cooper was Mystique in the comics.

As a die-hard Cyclops fan (he’s my favorite Marvel character), I think even Scott himself would be perfectly fine with people seeing her as an equal or better leader. And Ororo would scoff at people trying to pit them against each other in the first place. In the comics, Storm knew that Scott just wanted to go and live a quiet life with his family, but could never bring himself to actually give up the X-Men, which he’d been raised by Xavier to devote his entire life to since he was a teen. So she challenged him for it. It wasn’t genuinely a competition like some fans seem to make it out to be. It was her being a good friend and giving him an out that he could accept.
