Why so many hateful comments? Volleyball is a team sport. It’s true that Vargas is an excellent player. I love her so much but Turkiye will not win with just her. All team mates contributed really well. Also, Vargas is a Cuban decent but she is Turkish now. Just like other countries with adopted players. Don’t discredit the efforts of Turkiye team. Please give where the credit is due. If you would like to support your favored teams, you don’t have to do it by bashing Turkiye.

Turkey is looking very different with Vargas. There are 2 world class opposite , Karakurt & Vargas. Aydin's performance in this tournament is tremendous. She is not tall, but she's a great finisher. Gratz for the clean victory.
Vargas now has Turkish citizenship, she is Turkish-Cuban. Currently in the squad of Turkish club Fenerbahçe and became Turkish league champion this year. She has been banned from playing for international tournament by Cuba for 4 years. Now that she got the chance to play for Turkey, we are happy she is getting the recognition she deserves globally.

Please respect what TR team has achieved. Vargas has become Vargas in TR as she has been playing in TR since she was 17. Her team became the league champion this year. If she had stayed in Cuba, nobody would be talking about her today.
Turkiye played a great game against Italy. It is so great to see different players being tested during the VNL. Vargas was on fire today and undoubtedly the MVP of the match. I hope Turkiye beat USA tomorrow 🙏

The 2nd game was such a controlled and precise defense of Turkey coupled with the powerful strikes of Vargas, the win was perfect❤🎉 it was the best of Italy in the 2nd match, they got the lead and the momentum but Turkey surpassed it all, bravo! Good coaching of Santerreli❤ Vargas is the MVP for that match...hope the VNL council has awards for every game won.
