I just got mine. Great fixture! Very bright. I can’t believe that this fixture has automatic position correction at this price point (the movement will never be out of sync if touched or bumped). Chauvet should list this in it’s specifications because it’s an important feature to professional dj’s. This is a perfect “professional” moving head at a great price! And it’s so small and light!
So looks like the changes from the Spot 250 are that it has motorized zoom (which is SUPER NICE might I add. The manual zoom of the 250 is a pain to change after being hung.) the LCD screen and the Powercon connectors. Am I missing anything?
Hilltop, thanks for reaching out. We're very excited about this new addition to the award-winning Intimidator Series, the new Intimidator Spot 260 features an upgraded 75W LED, motorized focus, quarter turn hanging bracket, updated modern housing and the addition of new Powercon connectors!
RGBW Color mixing at least, with different LEDs per model. The 160 could have seven LEDs, the 260 could have twelve, the 360 could have eighteen, and so on. Maybe manual zoom on the 160, but motorized zoom on the 260 and 360, obviously with the IRC control and totem mode. Maybe some zone control on the higher models. Idk, this is all just speculation.
The advantages are 25% improved brightness, manual zoom, motorized focus, PowerCON in/out, quick-connect bracket... all for the same price. Whether you're a 255 lover or a 260 lover, you're still our customer and we thank you for that! Enjoy and happy programming!
These will no doubt be available in white in a matter of time; in the meantime big questions will they be IRC-6 Remote compatible? BT Air Compatible? Any BT Air Lasers in the works?
Mike, thanks for reaching out. The CHAUVET DJ Intimidator Spot 260 is IRC-6 remote compatible, but will not work with our BTAir products! There are no plans currently for a BTAir Laser.

Thanks for the feedback! Good info to know!
Put a rotating prism in it and call it the intimidator spot 275. That would be epic.
Nice! 👍👍
Can you guys send me some of those demo units? I tell ya I'll get more of those sold! They look awesome by the way! Great setup as always!

You guys need to make some washes that are this good.
What features and price point in the wash would you like to see? How many LEDs? How many colors per LED?

Why would you need a zoom on a wash?
nuclear guitarfare So that you can change the spread of the wash. So that you can light up certain areas, for example.
can this fixture be used without haze /smoke and what is the throw distance
I'll stick with my 255 IRC's, thanks.
Can you offer an explanation why?
@@reissallan They don't really offer any significant advantage over the 255 so no reason to upgrade.
