This was one of my favorite games on nes. I beat this game one day, it was crazy how the ball turns up triangles. my favorite stage is the second one because of the ghost
I didn't know this was existed on the NES.I played with the actual PinBot machine and its sequel, the Bride of Pinbot many moons ago.Pretty kick-ass pinball tables, both of them.Especially Bride of Pinbot with its incredible speech almost made you chill: "Now-i-see-you" :O
Still have that game in my collection. Got it from EB games a long time ago from the bargain table. I think I can still rock the game. Thanks for sharing the video.
Dude, the actual PIN BOT pinball machine was so badass. I think I might one day buy one, just to have around. The machines were infused with cosmic magic, so having it around one's being allows one to connect more harmoniously with the stars.
One of my favorite games for the original NES (and still own). Surprisingly entertaining for a pinball game on that machine. Hilariously, I just got a PS4 a couple of days ago, and last night discovered Farsight's Pinball Arcade for it...with Bride of Pinbot on it!
I'm not a huge 8-bit fan, so these days there's only one game from my old NES collection that I still find enjoyable, and that is Pinbot. Occasionally I bring it over to my dad's house and we hook it up to his big "deafen the neighbors" stereo. The double-ball music sounds DOPE going through a big amp.
The real thing was the first pinball machine I ever played, Buffalo Billy's Pizza in Yerington, Nevada circa 1992. That was such a great arcade... "Turtles in Time", "T2: The Arcade Game", "Street Fighter II", "Cruisn' USA", "Road Blaster", "Super Off Road", a Nintendo Vs. cabinet, the latest "Mortal Kombat" was always in as soon as it came out, and if that wasn't enough, they had like four pool tables. If I've got the money and the space, I want to recreate it someday.
This game is kinda underrated. Didn't even know about the real table version for a while, nor the fact that it was made by Rare. Awesome nes pinball game though. Love dat soundtrack!
I'm always amazed when I hear voice in an NES game. Even if it's a robotic one like Pin-Bot. The only other games I know that have voice are Count Dracula Sesame Street and Adventure of Link. A laugh counts as a voice, alright.
I don't know how they had so much action on such a limited system, this is a great port for what it is. I used to love playing pinbot at the arcade and bowling alley with my Dad and brother.
Whenever you're in multi-ball play and you lock a ball in Pin-Bot's visor, it sounds like he's saying "Shoot for solar vash!" instead of "Shoot for solar value". XD! LOL!
+KWKBOX That was Windows XP. I can't recall any Pinball game ever to come with Windows95 or 98 unless you count in those Plus! extensions that I have no clue of.
+KWKBOX Well, certainly neither Win95 or 98 did in Germany. Can't speak for ME or 2000 but from my memories, many people first saw it getting shipped with XP.
Pinbot has also been released on that 'Pinball Arcade' pinball emulation game that is available on multiple modern platforms. -HOWEVER- Only the NES version has those upgrades of 'pinball eating alien' and 'Galaxian pest' and 'Flipper destroying bomb'. Which makes this and 'High Speed' so unique titles to always be on the look out for. Also worth noting is that before Rare did this, I'm not all that certain there even was an attempt at recreating a three dimensional pinball game. They all liked to take that Atari 2600/NES Pinball approach of being flat/straight down viewpoint with no physics to speak of. Pinbot, I believe, is when video pinball stepped out of the stone age.
At first I thought this was Pinball Quest. That game was really cool! It even had an rpg mode. Maybe Mark reviewed that already I'll have to check but I played that pinball game way more than this one.
Holy shit, it's Pin-Bot, the greatest video pinball game ever! 15,000,000+ is my best High Score. I also made it to the fifth "level" or board, but have yet to beat it. #DonWonTes #PinbotWizard
You're not a true NES pinball fan if have you don't have both Pin-Bot and High Speed, the two Rare-developed ports of the original Williams pinball machines. Rare did a good job porting these while respecting the NES hardware limitations, especially in regards to the 16 colors maximum on screen at once. I just wish you could turn the additional fluff (and not just the voice which stops the game cold) off.
Great pinball game on the nes. Pinball games during this period were very basic mostly. Though alien and devil crush may have been out on turbo grafx. I got this game from a rental store as a cheap purchase. Played it with my father who actually ended up beating the game. As a kid I never did. My father was not a gamer. I went back to it later and completed it. Its a very addictive game. You have to deal with the usual bullshit of losing a ball to bad luck, when it goes into the side lanes. You can shake the machine to avoid it somewhat though. I believe the game ends when you reach a certain score or go through all the different board variations. From what I remember it was score based to reach the end.
Actually, the physics here are quite good for NES pinball, on top of being a recreation of a real game. The ball actually moves pretty close to the real machine by NES standards, just a whole lot slower.
Meh... you can already play Pin*Bot, Bride of Pin*Bot and Jack*Bot and a whole lot more in Pinball Arcade nowadays. Speaking of which, you should definitely review a table from that collection some day!
Arguably the best pinball game on the NES...
High Speed is pretty good too.
pinbot for NES taught me everything I know about pinball. I didnt even think it was a real machine until I stumbled on it in an arcade.
I love watching videos of old pinball games on the 8 and 16 bit machines after playing something as modern and flashy as Marvel Pinball.
This was one of my favorite games on nes. I beat this game one day, it was crazy how the ball turns up triangles. my favorite stage is the second one because of the ghost

I spent many hours playing this and High Speed back in the day. Great games!
Just bought an NES at a retro store today!
I loved this game on the NES. Made by Rare !
Great game, I also loved this as part of the Williams Collection on the Wii.
THE TIMING! :o I played this last night, saw a copy at a thrift shop a few hours ago, and now this! :)
+Ripplin It was meant to be!
+TheGuyThatGamesAlot yes I am sure u can
I miss your game reviews!
Still have that game in my collection. Got it from EB games a long time ago from the bargain table. I think I can still rock the game. Thanks for sharing the video.

More retro reviews, keep them coming. Nothing is better.
one step closer to reviewing...EVERYTHING!
One of my favorite games for the original NES (and still own). Surprisingly entertaining for a pinball game on that machine.

love this game on NES!!!
I remember this game, I really liked it.

The Disco Pinball Dimension is back! We need more double Mark from the TX-Sector!
I didn't know about this game... It looks fun!
Looks like it has many interesting ideas, and fantastic sound. Lots of thought was put into the game.
What a coincidence yesterday I went to a barcade and I played pinbot for the first time and now you review it for nes.
This game is kinda underrated. Didn't even know about the real table version for a while, nor the fact that it was made by Rare. Awesome nes pinball game though. Love dat soundtrack!
I've been watching you guys for years and just Now noticed you were located in Pittsburgh!! That was a bit of a shocker.
I'm always amazed when I hear voice in an NES game. Even if it's a robotic one like Pin-Bot. The only other games I know that have voice are Count Dracula Sesame Street and Adventure of Link. A laugh counts as a voice, alright.
Skate or Die 2 had a voice sample.
I don't know how they had so much action on such a limited system, this is a great port for what it is. I used to love playing pinbot at the arcade and bowling alley with my Dad and brother.
I'd like to know how they pulled it off. Probably a lot of cool programming hacks involved.
Pokemon pinball on GBC was pretty amazing when it came out. You should review it if you haven't.
Love your channel buddy!
Galactic Pinball on the VB FTW!!
Great video loved Pinbot
Whenever you're in multi-ball play and you lock a ball in Pin-Bot's visor, it sounds like he's saying "Shoot for solar vash!" instead of "Shoot for solar value". XD! LOL!
I still prefer the space pinball game that came with Windows 95.
+KWKBOX I must have spent dozens of hours playing that in my childhood on windows 98
+KWKBOX That was Windows XP. I can't recall any Pinball game ever to come with Windows95 or 98 unless you count in those Plus! extensions that I have no clue of.
***** XP was the last OS to have it actually. It was on Windows 95 but there were so many different distros I am sure not all had it.
+KWKBOX Well, certainly neither Win95 or 98 did in Germany. Can't speak for ME or 2000 but from my memories, many people first saw it getting shipped with XP.
***** I gotcha. I saw it in the USA as early as 95 and everybody had it in Win98 for sure around here. I think it was called 3D Pinball - Space Cadet.
Love that music!
Agreed👻

+jupreindeer Yeah, it wasn't until the Pinball Dreams series and Epic Pinball when we finally got some really good 2D pinball in video games.
gotta get this one!
Yestercades in New Jersey has the actual Pin Bot pinball machine
Pin Bot sounds like a cylon from the original Battlestar Galatica.
At first I thought this was Pinball Quest. That game was really cool! It even had an rpg mode. Maybe Mark reviewed that already I'll have to check but I played that pinball game way more than this one.
Id highly suggest the pinball arcade mark.Beside the original it has bride of pinbot and jackbot as well.
Holy shit, it's Pin-Bot, the greatest video pinball game ever! 15,000,000+ is my best High Score. I also made it to the fifth "level" or board, but have yet to beat it. #DonWonTes #PinbotWizard

From somewhere in Montreal Quebec Canada,WHATS UP MARK!!!
I own this game! I suck at it, but I have a lot of fun anyway. Easily one of my favorite video pinball games. (Though I haven't played that many.)
Uranus...I see what you did there!
Great pinball game on the nes. Pinball games during this period were very basic mostly. Though alien and devil crush may have been out on turbo grafx. I got this game from a rental store as a cheap purchase.

Bride of Pinbot would fare better on the Turbografx: more colors! More physics! More obscureness!
i lived in Decatur Alabama before :3
I had a handheld pinball game called Pin Bot once. But it went ka-put.
Very fun game
Actually, the physics here are quite good for NES pinball, on top of being a recreation of a real game. The ball actually moves pretty close to the real machine by NES standards, just a whole lot slower.
"" Nooo dont eat my ball!! ....wait""
I personally allways go for URANUS.
you should review high speed
Awesome 😈
Bride of Pinbot: Great game because of mondo roboboobs!
why was it in a super nintendo does he have parasite clone or like a nes/clone in the case
+A t h s t e t i c A n d r o i d/GamingGutter never mind i looked at it again its an fc twin lol
Try High Speed & Pinball Quest.. ps you are quite the player on the nes version of pinbot, you got further than I did and I played the game a lot.
Why you are not playing on a nes
+The Retro Kid Yea Mark, for shame!
is undertow gonna come back?
+arclightGS Thank God. It became unwatchable, I would always cringe and just feel sorry for Derek.
+LemonSlice He could always start up his own channel. It's not like TH-cam accounts cost money. Equipment is even budget range.
4:26.....Uranus.
If you press select while playing it shakes the arcade cabinet!!
WWWWWWWWWWILLLLL!!!!!! WILL! Will Will will will will
pinbot is mad
Other than the constant color changes of the table, this pinball looks pretty amazing for the 8bit NES console.
The color changes makes me sick.
I prefer the bride of pinbot table.
Does this guy ever reply to comments? :P
He does a Q&A. The comments are for the fans to discuss the games and the show.
PIN*BOT is my Truxton.
I hate this game
if you shake the machine the cloud will spit out the ball on level 2
Holy shit, thanks! I always wondered how to 'conquer' that bastard!
+YamiGekusu no problem man my dad and I destroyed that game long ago.
It's very strange that thr under part of the pinball machine becomes the statusbar of the entire game, how idiotic cut it more be?
Meh... you can already play Pin*Bot, Bride of Pin*Bot and Jack*Bot and a whole lot more in Pinball Arcade nowadays. Speaking of which, you should definitely review a table from that collection some day!
Mirn
UNDER 500 CLUB
lots of snake rattle and roll audio!
JackBot is even better.. but it's not on Nintendo...
Literally blowing your flippers off the board? That is just cheating.
