- Week 5 of my digital diary documenting my 6 week study abroad trip in Seoul, South Korea :). We left Seoul for the weekend and spent time Jeolla. We explored Jeonju's Hanok Village on Saturday and learned about hanji on Sunday. As the week went went by, I went to class as usual, got lost trying to get to the Han River with friends, went on the Eland Han River Cruise, shopped in Hongdae, and went to Itaewon for the first time ❤

What do you use to edit? I’m planning on going to the same 6 week program at KU this year and I wanna do something like this for Instagram 😭

How much money did you bring for the summer?
I actually didn’t bring a whole lot of cash with me since I mostly used my credit card. I only used cash to fill up my t money card. I probably used up around 20,000-30,000 krw a week on bus and subway travel. How much you bring may depend on how much you’re planning on shopping ;)
@@TuQuynh thanks for replying! I only have a discover credit card and I heard that it’s not widely accepted in South Korea so I’m considering getting another credit card or a part time job. When you put eating with your friends how did you’ll pay for things? It looked like y’all shared a lot of food so I was wondering if you’ll were splitting the price or sending money after
@@jadagiddens7046 actually a lot of places we went had self ordering kiosks so that made it pretty easy to purchase our own items. When we shared at restaurants, we would usually put it on one bill and split by sending money or exchanging cash w each other since some of the group only brought cash while others used cards 😊
