Watching this on my samsung galaxy A6. I already updated it from android oreo to android 9 pie and then recently I updated it from the latest android 10. The performace is really improves alot. So far so good.
Samsung has banked on its brand name itself in terms of pricing its smartphone line. But its about time buyers consider alternatives that offer more for less the price. For €300 there are flagships of yesteryears that easily beat this A6 (2018).
i bought A6 for 180€ and it is better than S7. S7 has no updates up to Android 9, old screen and format of body, glassy style as well. so why i should buy it if could pat just 180 and get more new stylish phone.

I've been using this phone for 2 years now. Lately, I noticed how much the cellphone lags especially when playing games or watching tiktok. I'm thinking of switching to Vivo V21E next month. Thanks for the 2 years Samsung :)
is it a problem? i think micro is more practical than C, cause micro charger u can find almost anywhere but C is a problem i had a phone with c port and once i was left without a charge half a day... c will be good after 1-2 years.
You'll get better specs, features, aesthetics and over all better phones with better software support from other manufacturers in this price range. (Xiaomi, Nokia, One plus etc to name a few)

Liquid Pixels actually, the replacement of the A5 2017 is the A8 2018. You can see this on the model number of the A8 which is the A530F, a sequential follow-up to the A5's A520F model name. You are right however that Samsung's new lineup is a mess. The J6 effectively made the A6 redundant. I've seen the J6 and A6 in the flesh and if I didn't know any better, I could've sworn that I was holding the same phone. In my opinion, the J6 should've been the successor to the J5 2017, with the A6 being an orphan in the Samsung lineup. The A6 was built as a band-aid reaction to the Huawei P20 lite, Asus Zenfone 5, Vivo V9+, and Oppo F7.

I wanted to like this phone! Last years A models were good with glass finish and IP68 water resistance. But A6 (2018) is a huge disappointment. No way I would buy this phone. Samsung should do much better than this!
Infinity display + Dolby Atmos on A6. Should I watch cinema later. I can't wait to play game using headphone jack with 3D cinematic sound effect surround me. And recording it without play store app. With 720 p resolution may avoid battery drain fast right
@game mods i like this phone. Worst part of it its the so called infinity display wich you can see the pixels. It doeant have notifications whats so ever. This review is on point. Its a decent phone but not at this price. Camera is very good. At least we have that
i have this phone it is very nice the camera is pretty good but i have serious problems with focus/autofocus, especially at night and dark places with lights (like clubs) it loses focus all the time in video mode , i can't capture a video without autofocus being fucked up, it tries to focus and then whole video is blurred...and i start a new video hoping it will stay okey...can someone help me??
I can't believe all the horrible comments about this phone, I got this to replace my S7 active which was broke and a piece of crap could not charge it, the charging point was ruined by no fault of my own the screen was cracked the battery was horrible! And I'm not paying $30 a month anymore for a name! This phone has been wonderful for me although I would like a notification light fast charging, and always on clock display feature, but other than that for what I do with this phone which is text message some internet surfing and actually talkin on it it's a great phone for my needs, and for 15 bucks a month on AT&T it's well worth it

Apple does it better even the galaxy S9 doesn't have dual speakers it's just got a little black thing in between the speaker and it just did that and said he will collect all speakers they don't actually have dual speakers otherwise they get rid of the headphone jack and God knows they don't want to get rid of the headphone jack because you know the headphone jack is amazing not really everyone just uses Bluetooth nowadays anyways

The A6 really is just a J series riding on the higher-end branding of the A series to hide its cheap internals and justify its asking price.
