  • Coming in to hot and wind caught it! plane is fine. Slight bend on the wing tip. I bent it back to place. It's a little wrinkled now but no other real damage.

It is pretty tough! Most other planes would have torn the nose off for sure!

Welcome to the club sir. I crashed mine really bad the front fuselage broke into 4 big pieces including right across the wingroot. But got it fixed with foam glue, filler foam and loads of toothpicks, and she flies fine once again. You might want to check the servo wires leading back to the elevators the edf chewed through the wires and 1 of the elevators got stuck in the up position midflight, hence the spiraling lawn dart.

Yeah I actually noticed that tight fit with the wires under the edf early on. I actually dug out a little foam in that area to give the wires more room.

If the wind's causing you issues, maybe fly in calmer weather. Those trees all around will be causing a ton of rotor also. I reckon you've got to bleed off way more speed before you touch down. That's one reason you spun out like that, too. I'v done it before on my p.15 and it was because the plane wasn't ready to land. Forcing it down only leads to bad things.

Hope you fixed this beauty. Landing looks weird, because this plane is known to land just on gliding without engine.

The wind ? Why aren’t the trees moving ? Pretty plane !

Sometimes you just have to crash dude a then you find out what you did wrong, looked like you landed with the wind or sorta crossed. However I enjoyed the show!

I'm so worried I'm going to kill mine LOL still hadn't flown it yet. But soon, hadn't glued the Stabs on and I'll be doing the rudder setup soon on it.
You mind sharing your setup file for it?

I'm working on a video of a rudder mod I did on another jet which is the same process. Should be on the channel soon.

@@RaGeRC I meant to say share your transmitter setup file, so mine would be the same. I'm running a AR630 using a DX6e which I'll be selling soon for an upgrade.
