The Palo west bypass road in Leyte, once completed, is expected to stir more economic activities amid the continuing growth of the town.
Originally, the construction of the PHP136 million west bypass road, which was started on March 2, 2016, was to provide alternative route from this town’s Arado village to Pawing village, near the border of Tacloban City.
With the growth of commercial and business establishments along the Pawing area and Government Center, increased traffic along the national highway that it spans has been experienced.
