HOLY COW!!! Believe it or not BOOKS are my main (or one of them atleast) thing I sell on Ebay. So when I saw that last sale that was my reaction!! I would have bought a TON of stuff there!! Some of that stuff is good $$$$

The glass mug with red print, that was next to the "Reds do it again" white mug--was that a Tombstone Territory? It looks a lot like the couple of mugs my mom has. She's said that it was a small "western" area in the old LeSourdesville amusement park, in Warren County near Middletown, that became the Americana park, through the 80s. Not exceptionally valuable, very niche given the small size and location, but still not something common to find.

Garage sales are long gone in my area till spring time.. But walked into goodwill seen an autographed Seattle sonics picture in frame for 4 bucks. Got out to car opened up frame and behind was a cert of authenticity for a Ken Griffey JR. 8x10 and behind that was the picture of Ken autographed. A week later went to another good will and found another Ken Griffey JR. autograph for 2 bucks, no certificate though..

You should learn more about vintage audio, a lot of people don't know what old stuff is worth. That's a nice Kenwood tuner you found.
The shelves of glass ect at the front of number threes garage worried me...i wanted to tell her to put it against a wall..i was sitting here dead still in case i backed into it!.

We have lousy garage sales where we're at. Stuff I wouldn't even take to the Good Will. I stopped going to them. You're fortunate you're in good garage sale territory.
In Germany the private garage sales are extremely rare. Most flea markets are full or sometimes only Chinese crap and generic tv adapter.
@@SilentHillFetishist Where I'm at I'm not to interested in our flea market anymore. I used to go for dolls but they don't have them like they used to.
Im usually pretty good with selling things and knowing the right value to get it sold (meaning I dont think my crap is worth more than it is)
With that said, you made me wonder about a technics 5 piece system that we had for many many years. It finally got moved to our shop/garage and when we remodeled our shop we threw it away and put in a much smaller sony system.
Now Im wondering what value it may have had....tuner, amplifier, equalizer, cd, and tape deck

How do you decide what Reds stuff to get for resell - only authorized merch? Does it have to be special in some way? I live in a popular football area & team stuff is everywhere - I’m just not sure what would be good for resale. Do you look each piece up before buying? Hello there young man, I am interested in resaling, but I only have $10. Should I start by finding free stuff on the side of the road and sell it to raise money for resaling.
Start with looking in your own house first. Find things that can sell quick. And just keep rolling all the money you make back into sourcing new items. You will be surprised at how great it can add up.
There is a rumor of a possible that priority boxes could end. I have only just heard about it from a youtuber.

Did young Otto these garage sales during a week day? I can’t find any at all during the week within a 1 hour radius of me.
Some nice sales there, I hear people already sold there video games when I get there all the time. it stinks.
Nothing is worse then then asking for video games and being told someone else just bought them all. (Actually, what's worse is when they tell you how much they sold it all for....I once had a guy tell me someone "Just 10 minutes before I got there" came in and bought a big box of Nintendo games, probably 30 games from him. "It was a good deal too, I was only asking $10". That is the worst.)

@@steelerscollector I grabbed all the 50's and 60's yearbooks from upstairs, all the high school yearbooks got bids this morning. I figured the Carnegie Institute of Technology will sell decent. I did a little research while listing, there are 2 Nobel Prize winners and quite a few early computer big wigs that are listed on the wikipedia page from the years I got

How do you find garage sells
If the tuner works, your looking at a pretty penny
If the dial cord is well, but only the tuning shaft slipping, use natural, NOT SILICONE, bee wax on one free spot, search all frequencies, do it again when slipping again. After a few times waxing it will work well (confirmed for Marantz Gyrowheel).
