- This is a table top review of my full custom Infinity firearms 2011 on SVI guns. Going over a general description of the build process and what exactly you get for the steep price tag a custom gun like this commands.
I realize a lot of people are like, “ohh, pretty pistol” but I feel like only a very small subset of people can truly appreciate what a masterpiece this is.

The reason they cost more is because they add the idiot sheeple tax to them and they have gov contracts so they don't need you to buy it or be competitive feature wise.
There's a difference between price and value, huge difference.

I like it way more than my surefire x300. Way brighter, better controls, QD, better throw pattern, and you can recharge it.

It's night and day a better weapon light aside from it possibly not being as rugged, which is irrelevant for a civilian concealed carry weapon light
@@maximusjoseppi5904 I have used all of them extensively and through hard use. In my experience the surefire lights tend to hold up. Maybe different in your case. I certainly appreciate the other brands having higher lumen output and other functionality. To each his own
@@bap2139 ya, I mean my civilian carry lights certainly don't qualify as getting hard use in and out of holsters or pockets and onto a table. If I were to be in the military or be in the elements a lot, I would probably use the surefire but then I also wouldn't be bringing my infinity with zero play.
My x300u 1000 lumen is on my fnx45 tactical, a gun and light combo that have fitting philosophies of use.
That is expensive for a gun but it is not expensive for something you work for and want. That gun will be with you for life the bike won’t.
FYI, the Strayer family owns it, Casey is an employee but a super nice guy and one of the best guys there to help with your builds.
The sweetest parts are the removal of the grip safety and how low the rmr sits
Personally, I was thinking about doing what you did too. I was able to shoot a Nighthawk TRS Comp with Burnt Bronze finish and RMR with their IOS. The Nighthawk and Infinity were really close in price. The big difference was shooting both at the same range. I like how the Infinity looks different, but the NH TRS Comp, just shot so much nicer.

I'm looking into buying one of those myself the other thing is the magazines are between 150 and 180 bucks a piece so you probably spend at least $1,000 on mags if not more

The gun is super badass looking !! the olight needs to be replaced with some thing that mimics the guns look, Nevertheless that has to be probably the coolest looking gun I have seen in a long time.
Certainly very good looking, but I was hoping more for a review of how it is to shoot rather than just a description of it. Might you do a test like Honest Outlaw? That's the kind of in-depth review I'm sure everyone would be interested in (though nobody would expect you shooting at 75 yards...).
Beautiful quality art that is useful forever. These target handguns can go 100,00 to 200,00 rounds. The barrels 50,000 to 100,000 rounds. An owner showed his INFINITY with 10K or 20K rounds. And all the interior parts were in immaculate shape. The craftsmanship and the attention to detail is just incredible. That is why the demand for these pistols from all over the world.

My $330 Modlite failed on the 2nd magazine my Olight still shines at 12000 rounds

I got a bul sas2 sl 40 and that thing is precisely built , it's perfect in every way , there might be a sharp edge here or there but it makes me realize how much I overpaid on the stacatto xc . And the safety is so perfect ,not to hard not to soft ,trigger too .
I want several Bul products, they have alot going for them and price for what you get looks phenomenal
Bro you talking about having IRONS on an optic pistol hits me so hard. I wish more guns OEM had a clean slide option if they are pre milled for an optic. The aesthetic and function in my opinion aid each other in this instance.
I have a bunch of semi-custom 1911, looking to get into 2011s. Your infinity looks very interesting , may be my first 2011.
I recently did a Glock build and found mid height sights that do not co-witness. They're really just for backup. Also there's no way I'd carry a gun with that light a trigger and I've been shooting competition guns for years. Discipline or not adrenaline happens
Sure on a none manual safety gun or striker fire. But on a manual safety gun trigger pull doesn’t matter. Safety does not come off until your ready to fire.
Very nice gun. Love the quality of SV Infinity! And I can fully relate to the experience. Casey knows his stuff and has helped me on my builds as well. Quality is super, finish is excellent and as shown, NO PLAY whatsoever... makes it very hard finding a ‘proper’ 1911 that doesn’t rattle when you shake it....
So, when are you gonna make a video of that artwork in action? I wanna see you sling some 45 super downrange.

So I finally carried mine , I have the the round slide with accelerated serrations that go down the slide and the aggressive micro pockets. So it eats up all the kydex holster and sometimes my lower abdominal.it’s a full size.In 10mm with a short rail .
How does the 13 round mag look without the magwell.
I want a double stack 1911 in .45 but without the fat magwell.
Casey told me to just thumb the safety off and on until it’s smoothed out and that’s what happened, it’s identical to what your sounds like and feels like

@@oldtestaccount would of been disappointing, I had bought 3 140mm magazines in 10mm back during freedom week and then when I got my svi a few months back ,then recently shoot it and jammed , I thought it was the barrel then my brother who told me it’s the magazine that caused the jams , so I contacted svi and said it’s a issue with the follower and ask for me to send them in , haven’t done it yet going to send in all 3 magazines in case there a issue with the rest , it dose cost a bit to ship. I do have some little spotting on the slide due to what idk, however I doubt it’ll be fixed . Literally cause of those little blemishes I’m not going to feel bad if I fuck it up seeing that I wanted it to be a flawless finish and it didn’t hold up after just touching it and and 1 range day a a shooting station .
@@oldtestaccount trigger and function wise 🤌🏻 chefs kiss , irons sights don’t move when on target even in dry fire aim at the smallest target or screw and iron sights aren’t interrupted. Even with a rds. I wish I could carry mine however it’s a government length and it’s not appropriate for my frame and none of my cloths can conceal it or hold it up lol

So a self-defense scenario comes along, Max shoots one or several bad guys or a good guy, and gets his $7000 art piece with a hair trigger impounded by the PD. Max might not see his work of art for while, and if he's not in jail, reverts to his back-up gun, his Hi-Point. Not sure about packing that Gucci blaster in your ostrich holster for self-defense, Max. IMO, you're rolling the dice packin' that piece. OTOH, I had a .45 Infinity and it is one sweet machined weapon and I know you're grinning ear to ear when you take it out. They are up there with Atlas, etc. and shoot like a dream. I'm just suggesting you throw out the emotion and consider a bit of logic IF you have to empty some .45 Super into someone. Other than that, I applaud your choice, and yes, there's some drool on my keyboard as it's a beautiful gem. Temper that with some logic if the SHTF.

Olight on an Infinity is nasty work
Just subscribed and that pistol is gorgeous. It would probably take me a year or two just to go through the option's and knowing me I'd have to go through each one with a fine tooth come. That is definitely not a Glock. ( Lol ). Ruger Rich

@@maximusjoseppi5904 Exploding garbage made of Chinesium is better than a Surefire X300U or a Streamlight TLR-1HL?? Shit, if you MUST get something made in China you should go with the InForce Wild2. Same 1000 lumen output as the X300U and TLR-1HL but it boasts a whopping 30,000 candela. ALL 3 of those lights are better choices than an Olight. Believe me, I used to buy into the hype too.. But Olight is straight trash and the only people who buy them are those who don’t know any better and think that the TH-camrs who shill for them actually use their products, when they definitely do not.

@@maximusjoseppi5904 Olights are straight trash. Full stop. The two times I bought an Olight they both took a shit in under a year. One stopped holding a charge, and on the other, the cheap ass QD mount broke. I’ll admit that Surefire is overpriced and quickly falling behind companies like Cloud Defensive and Modlite when it comes to performance, but AT LEAST they have a decent warranty, unlike Olight. They don’t even give candela stats for their lights ffs. They are cheap, and there’s a reason for that.

if you ask for an SRO cut, it will, but if you request an RMR cut it will be too deep for an SRO.
While this gun is a very well-made machine and expensive and probably shoots the eye out of a Gnat at 100 yards to me it's Butt Ugly! I can see the machining and attention to detail and can tell quality defines this firearm like no other I have ever seen but for some reason, this old man just doesn't like the look! In fact, I dislike the look of all of the modern guns with their modular design and the squared-off surfaces and the plastic crap frames and all of that! Now your video is good and I like your presentation so my comment isn't designed to blast you. I think you are in love with these guns and I applaud that. It is the gun I don't like! I own a lot of firearms. Too many to list in an even larger space than afforded here, however, most of my firearms are vintage guns made before 1960. But as they say, to each his own!

Never thought I'd see an olight on a infinity...
its my fav full size light and I own them all. people used to say the same thing about streamlight, vortex optics, holosun, etc etc etc. use the different products and choose what you like the most. its just internet cool to shit on olight... i havent had any of their weapon lights fail on me and i own a bunch
@@maximusjoseppi5904 I have two olights and haven't had any issues. I know there was the exploding/ fire incident but it seems like they figured it out so far.

thats always the "incident" people bring up when ive never been able to find any data surrounding those claims but either way, thats a battery problem and not a light problem. ive had them for years and all of mine still work.

How does it shoot vs your old infinity? I assume your last one was a competition length based on what you said in the video.
My old one was before red dots on pistols were a thing so it was a 5" full sized 45acp, normal irons, all silver with skateboard tape style grips (that used to be their most popular option back then). It wasn't nearly as nice as their modern guns to be honest and someone offered me $500 more than I bought it for because the wait used to be 14-18 months for a gun so lightly used infinitys were worth a lot.
I put a lot more thought and love into this one and it's much more luxuries and finely crafted imo. Shooting wise, they are both 3lb chunks of steal with unreal triggers so they all shoot well.. however, this grip texture is better and more quality.

I use the products that work the best, not what's most expensive. Hard to understand for people like you but price doesn't dictate quality or performance. Sometimes the best shit is the most expensive and sometimes the cheap shit is better.
I own every light on the market, I've used them all, this is the best full size weapon light.

Well it has to be a 2011 because of the grip and recoil management however its not chambered in 9mm which i would say is quite rare for one deffinitely considering the double stack mag is what its known for nontheless its beautiful

@@maximusjoseppi5904 When I was taught how to shoot my glock. The thumbs rest at the side of the slide and the slide moves against my thumbs. Sounds like I may have been taught wrong?
@@HeavyJ318 yes, you were taught wrong. Your thumbs should be on the frame, not the slide. Rubbing your thumbs on the slide will be very uncomfortable with any gun with decent serrations and will cause malfunctions. Lucky for you, glocks have shit serrations, unlucky for you, most firearms instructors are idiotic.

I thought it was going to be ported when I saw the front end of it and notice the barrel was cut into the slide, like a island front sight.
ya, its for competition shooters so the front sight stays stationary. i just thought it was cool looking though obviously.
I want to carry mine too have you found any holsters for it? If so could you share ? Casey recommended del fatti leather holsters ,for the least wear . However I just want a holster with a claw .
