    It’s so symmetrical; it’s perfection. I absolutely LOVE it! Your patience with the pleating really shows. I really struggle with the pleating, but will try to learn patience.

      Pleating is the bane of my existence. I really just love playing in the dye. Practice and patience is key. Good pleats = a masterpiece. You’ll get there. It just takes a little time to find your groove. 😊♥️🌈

    I like this. Great for those that are 'afraid' of neon regular bright tie dyes. Beautiful!

    It turned out great! I don't like it as much as Stormy Skies, but the splits are cool. Your fold is outstanding. You're absolutely right to continually emphasize the importance of talking your time with the fold, this is a perfect example. My first shirts are going to be fan folds, love the movement. I'm so glad we're supporting you doing your passion. Thanks for taking us on such a great adventure. Love ya, Steph!!! 🥰🥰🥰

    Awesome job on this one. If I opened my shirt up and saw this I’d be more than happy. Why didn’t you like it? You’re to hard on yourself. Thanks for all you do Steph.

    The shirt is gorgeous! It look like literal feathers to me. Hmmmmm, thinking on how to do this in a way that feathers might grow and lay on a bird….
    Thank you for saying how long it take you to fold, and beginners like me, folding takes a lot longer. I got discouraged how long folding went so your comment made me feel like it’s good to just relax and know it takes time.

    I love the color. This made me feel much better about my newest double fanfold. Fantastic job Stephanie

    Wowza! This tutorial was very helpful, I have a better understanding of the “incline fanfold method” I’m looking forward to trying this 😊

    Thanks for sharing this video. Stormy Sky arrived at my doorstep yesterday, I haven't tried it out yet. You are right, the low-key splits are a bit surprising. I'm thinking that I might try this color with Sage Green or perhaps Strawberry Skies...

    Kinda reminds me of spider legs. I just got this color and I might use it with the spider fold. I love your shirt, Steph, thanks for always sharing.

    Thanks for sharing. It did turn out nice. IMO not a pattern for a person with a belly 😉. Yep, pretty subtle splits.

      I have a belly, I do a single fanfold and place the centre at my waist (I put the shirt on and draw a mark where my waist is).

      @BelladonnaDyesCo  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re welcome Alan. Thanks. Really?? Personally I think it’s a slimming design because it cuts in at the waist. What pattern would you use to hide a Buddha belly? 🤷‍♀️❤️🌈

    Wow, this one really changed its impression on me - at first I wasn't sure about it because of the color and that it didn't really split into the vast, colorful combos like we see with other dyes, but I ended up really liking it because it's subtle and ESPECIALLY because of the pattern that resulted from your impeccable tying procedure! It totally looks like feathers and reminds me of a Native American chief's war bonnet I once saw in a museum - seeing the headdress in person, I was awe-struck!

    Very impressive. Even if the color doesn’t have mass appeal, anyone could appreciate how the time and care you took creating the pleats paid off. (And those inexpensive cutting mats you used in the live video with Margo can also be used to extend the height of your gutter sides.)

    It’s really pretty. I love the pattern but I’m not a big fan of the neutral colors so when I make mine I’ll try it in greens and blues. Thanks for inspiring us.

    I just did a shirt in this same color in a fanfold. It went in the OWB. I didn't care for it. I think I will try again adding another color. Maybe Wedgewood blue.

    I see you have a thickening agent listed. Do you use that with ice dying? When and why would you need to use a thickening agent. I am just learning how to tie dye. I love your designs!!!

    • @GOYOSGardenTiedyes
      @GOYOSGardenTiedyes ปีที่แล้ว

      She uses the thickening agent when she does liquid dye she hasn’t done too much of that lately

      I use sodium alginate to make thick water and thickened dye for liquid dyeing. If you peruse through all of my videos you will find where I use it and also how to mix it. ❤️🌈 th-cam.com/video/dxM4zxsquso/w-d-xo.html

    Love the color but don't love the pattern. I think that's mainly because of where the center points radiated out from though. Different placement and I think I'd love it.

    I don’t have one of those spin dryers just a regular washer and dryer. So do I need to dry the shirt in the normal dryer first? Thanks

    I don’t have any of pro chemical dyes. I’m going to have to look into their company. I’ve been noticing you use them more. I’m on the west coast. How much is shipping?

    I notice you repeat yourself a lot. It’s a bummer that you feel like you have to. I guess I understand because you’re trying to teach. I don’t fast forward your videos because I know how hard you work on them. I really appreciate all your hard work Steph. I should tell you more often. My towels didn’t turn out how I hoped they would but I’m not going to give up. Thank you.
