I too know how you feel, totally. I just recently understood how my own family took advantage of me for decades, to then discard me when I needed them, when they saw me in a moment of weakness and need. I never expected to be paid back what I had given them, but I also never expected their ingratitude and indifference. I was in a state of depression for several years, until I finally understood what had happened. See, I am partially autistic, I have Asperger's Syndrome, but I did not know this, untill 4 years ago, listenning to an italian podcast on science. I always thought I was just weird, that it was normal to feel rejection, envy and distrust, for my own family would make fun of me and attack me, let alone strangers. This was the moment I started researching my condition and finally understanding myself. It took me a few more years to get over it, to then accept me and the reality of my situation. It has not been easy, but I assure you you will come out of this way stronger.

I'm getting to know pride, self respect, dignity, my worth, my self, for the very first time. What a gift. It's a shock to see how many people need walking away from. Covid19 isolation was a gift, just me and my dogs and a pen and paper. I lost 23kgs and got introduced to myself. I am a good person that deserves better than what I was getting. I was cheating myself, selling myself short. The responsibility is and was on me, no one else. I was searching for something in others that I didn't know I already possessed. I can achieve far more than I ever believed I could. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Good advice love, care and respect your self always and you belong to yourself and no one ells always remember that, :) my advice for spotting a narcissist is to look for the three E's 1. Lack of Empathy for anyone including them self's, 2. Entitlement to know everything about you and use of your property, 3. Exploitation of your mind, soul, body and your property, if they have any of the three" E'S" walk away and never look back..!

You are so right on every level. Toxic people have no reason to be in our lives. "Let them go" They don't deserve true and honest people.
They are toxic and emit their poisonous venom on the innocent victims.
Stay away from them and never look back. If you go back, the venom will only penetrate your well-being to the very core of the essence of who you are. They don't care about you and they never will.
You deserve better. Please move on to greener pastures.

Great speech that I have ever heard, you just talked about what I always feel in my heart' it is all about respect, nobody can hurt my feelings' for me it is so easy to walk away and forget the person who doesn't know how to respect others because they have never been respected by others and they don't know the meaning of it therefor they don't deserve one second of your times' turn your back and walk away' no regret' let them to be with low life people who they deserve to be with(their own type) they definitely don't know how to handle wonderful high class people ' I see so much value in myself that I am proud of it simple is that' thank you,

Bro I feel you. I had to do it last year. Long story short, I walked away. I had my grief. Few days ago I was driving my motorbike just to keep the battery alive. On the traffic lights I saw my ex. She saw me too. I saw her face expression. She lifted her eyebrows. She couldn’t see my face because my full face helmet has also a visor. I didn’t do nothing. Just continue my way. Guess what… two days earlier she sent me an email wanting “closure” and some other narcissistic bs.
      I didn’t reply.
