Wyoming scenery is breathtaking . Where the mtns rise and streams of water flow it's a favorite .

Been to Yellowstone many times and we now live only 4 hours west of the park.

I don't know how I missed this video. I've been through Wyoming and Montana and Utah several times but I was always heading to a job out that way. Been on a few roads that you were on but like I said I'm either coming or going to a job and have to get there asap. Again great footage as always my friend. Be safe out there!! ROAD TRIP!!!

Thanks! I need to go back to Wyoming because I think it's a very underrated place to travel through. The national parks are well known but there is a lot of beauty around the entire state!

@@TravelwithaWiseguy I do have to agree with you on that. I feel the same about Montana as well.

Could you do US-91 this year for your yearly road trip?

It would be a good one, but I already spent all my money this summer in Alaska 😊

Watching this because I am terrified to drive through these steep grades. Any advice for a newbie like me?

Just drive slow and if you want to stop and look at something, pull over to the side. This portion through Wyoming isn’t too steep in my opinion so you’ll be just fine! Thanks for watching!

So Idaho is Route 89's Kansas. Kansas is to Route 66 what Idaho is to Route 89

Where was your airbnb and what was the name of it?

It was near Smoot, WY, and called the Pine Haven Suite. It was really nice and very inexpensive!

Video is probably the only way I'll get to see Yellowstone. I just hate crowds so much and Yellowstone is so popular you just have to fight people constantly to get anywhere. I hate that nonsense.

    • @TravelwithaWiseguy

Yeah I hate crowds too and Yellowstone is always very crowded. Most of those national parks are up there, unfortunately.

@@TravelwithaWiseguy I national park I'd like to recommend to you is Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It is beautiful. Despite the desert scenery it has all kinds of environments, of course mountains and desert but also it has lush forest in McKittrick Canyon. It is a one of a kind place. The best part is that there are no roads in the park so few people go there. I mean there are still people there but not nearly as bad as Yellowstone. I absolutely loved it
