I'm sure Barron didn't graduate from some MAGA-type school, and most of the people attending don't want Trump there - although if he knows he's not wanted someplace, he'll usually show up anyway if he can just to piss off everyone. Why is the defendant DJT allowed to dictate terms of his attendance at court?? Any other defendant would not be allowed to do this? It’s clearly double standards!
Because he's already screamed and cried that the judge wouldn't let him go to the graduation and that he's being persecuted. Who knows if he will go to the graduation at all, but probably given that the case is going faster than anticipated because Trump is so transparently guilty, they are ok with just taking a Friday off. So ultimately, Trump can no longer say that the court was stacked against him completely.

His attorneys petitioned the court, and after consideration, the court granted it. It is how it is done. I despise the guy, but he didn't "dictate to the court." If Trump was dictating the terms of his court attendance he wouldn't be there at all.

Neither of his lawyers seem to have that level of mental capacity. They are supposedly decent lawyers. Even in previous trials, they have hardly presented any defence or asked any questions which is strange.

I feel sorry for Baron Trump, and I entirely support the common decency of letting the children of politicians have their private lives. That being said, I do wonder what Baron thinks about all of this, what he thinks about his father.
The announcement that Baron would be delegate to the Republican convention immediately denied with "other commitments" gives us a strong clue: Baron (and Melania) do not want to be drawn in as props for Donald.
I seems obvious to me that Donald isn't wanted at Baron's graduation; not by Baron, not by Melania, and certainly not by the school.
I can't understand how the MAGA crowd is able to ignore the obvious facts being exposed in the rawest ways by this trial: Trump is a really awful man; the old-fashioned words "cad," "rotter," "heel" hardly do him justice. While we can only speculate what Baron thinks about this, I think the broad outline is clear.
I would not be surprised to see the 20-something Baron change his name to Knavs. "Trump" will go the way of "Hitler" and "Mussolini" .. archtypes nobody wants to identify with.

If the people on this jury don’t watch or keep up with politics as much as we do, they aren’t going to know who these MAGA congressmen are. Also, watch if they think Melania is showing up because she’s upset over this subject. Although, we know the truth of their tricks, the jury aren’t supposed to know as much about all of this as we do.
