I spent my Christmas alone, but wasn't lonely. Maybe because I'm older and I enjoy peaceful time alone. Lol, but I'm alone 90% of the time, anyway. Anywho, it's ok to be alone on holidays, and to even feel lonely. Just know that you are in fact not alone. Many people can relate, and being alone on Christmas doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you, either. I'm so glad to hear that your are feeling better. I'm on my own every Christmas. Since everything is shut and there is no public transport, it has become my "me" day. I buy new pajamas, buy in my favourite foods, and start the day with a bath, then change into my new PJs and slippers, snuggle under the duvet and watch my favourite films and series while eating my favourite foods. I usually go to bed early with a book. That's how I've spent Christmas for many years now and I love it. No obligations, just "me" time. Wishing you the best for 2025. A tip for staying positive: at the end of every day write down (at least) one good thing from that day; more than one is better. Fold up the paper and put it in a jar and place the jar somewhere you can see it. As the jar fills, you can see the positives grow. Yuu, it's so cool that you have such a grasp on technology. Do you sell your photography? It's harder nowadays to find beautiful postcards and poster prints of original content. Also, could you make a series of adventures for your character in still-life photography? I think it would be really fun to see what you'd come up with since you have such an eye for design.

I turned 30 this year and it has been one of the most eventful/ healing years I've had. So many life lessons crashing together at once, but it has brought me a new light on my future and I am excited to get into action 2025. Career, savings, friendships, and travel are on my list of desires for the upcoming year :)
Dear Yuu, I watched your video about Kagoshima and thought it was nice. Especially because you filmed parts of your trip with the Shinkansen (always interesting) and the ferry. What I didn't like, however, and what really worries me is your cough! Someone other wrote there, you should take care of your health and not neglect it!!! It would be a shame if you got seriously ill. It's better to stay at home and just go for a walk outside to get some fresh air for your respiratory system. You shouldn't bath in onsen or other pools, it's bad for your health this time. Are your medications working? By the way, I was alone over Christmas too, because I was ill. From bed to the sofa and now and then to the window for some fresh air. Slept a lot and watched TV. I had to cancel all my plans over Christmas, but now I'm healthy again. I wish you a happy new year 2025 from the bottom of my heart and hope that you recover your health, until you really feel better and the cough (I think it could be long-term Covid from your trip to the USA because you said you've had it since that trip. Normal coughs go away after a few weeks, but this one has been there since summer. That should give you something to think about. A friend of mine has been suffering from Long-Covid for almost 3 years and he's not doing well. He doesn't have any strength for long and is weak after a short exertion.) is really gone!!! Where I live, Christmas is on the 7th January (Eastern Orthodox). 25.12 or 07.01 it makes no difference to me. It is always the day like any other. I did got plastic scale model of OA4m Skyhawk (1/72 scale, Italeri). I was 7 back then? Anyway, this is the only thing I can remember I got for Christmas. This household isn't keen on Holidays...

Yuu, it's so cool that you have such a grasp on technology. Do you sell your photography? It's harder nowadays to find beautiful postcards and poster prints of original content. Also, could you make a series of adventures for your character in still-life photography? I think it would be really fun to see what you'd come up with since you have such an eye for design.

So many life lessons crashing together at once, but it has brought me a new light on my future and I am excited to get into action 2025. I watched your video about Kagoshima and thought it was nice. Especially because you filmed parts of your trip with the Shinkansen (always interesting) and the ferry. What I didn't like, however, and what really worries me is your cough! Someone other wrote there, you should take care of your health and not neglect it!!! It would be a shame if you got seriously ill. It's better to stay at home and just go for a walk outside to get some fresh air for your respiratory system. You shouldn't bath in onsen or other pools, it's bad for your health this time. Are your medications working?
By the way, I was alone over Christmas too, because I was ill. From bed to the sofa and now and then to the window for some fresh air. Slept a lot and watched TV. I had to cancel all my plans over Christmas, but now I'm healthy again.

Where I live, Christmas is on the 7th January (Eastern Orthodox). 25.12 or 07.01 it makes no difference to me. It is always the day like any other.
