This video explains the various elements of the UK city case study require within the new AQA GCSE Geography specification. It begins by looking at the importance of the city, before explaining how migration has impacts on its population structure. Following this it examines the opportunities (i.e. urban greening and urban regeneration) and challenges (i.e. urban sprawl and deprivation) provided by Newcastle. It concludes by considering the success of Newcastle's integrated transport strategy - the Newcastle Metro
