Lee (american guy) seemed to be a patient& a fun guy to be with. Dont think any filipino or chinese guy would be this kind&helpful esp to pokwang. Lee speaks well and even his tagalog is quite cute not annoying.

Good job! I would simmer the vegetables, chorizo and tomato sauce well before adding the shrimp last so they are not over cooked.
