- This was our First Time at Fries New River Trail RV Park. It was so nice and relaxing. We love traveling around in our Grand Design Reflection 312BHTS. This little mountain town has such great scenery including the New River, the state park and walking trails. There is the town of Galax, Va. is right next door. There are nice little shops, thrift stores and antique places. Enjoy, subscribe and Happy Camping!

Fries is a great little town! Check out the new river deli, they are connected to the bike and tube rental place right next to the low water bridge. Best breakfast in town! I go every other week if I can.
Yes it is. Didn't even see it, I sure that's where we did our tubing from. We'll be back sometime this coming summer. Thanks for the tip!
It's pronounced Freeze
The joke is freeze in the winter fries in the summer... but it is freeze. Remember that next time. It a very small town, and there's small paved roads over there that go every which way and you can get lost on every single one...good vid btw...

The correct pronunciation is "FREEZE" like very cold..... a lot of people think its Fries like as in the French kind....but....its not....just a friendly FYI! Hope you enjoyed your stay...….
Yep, found that out during our stay. I mention that later in the video. That was the "joke" I was attempting with the French fries. Thanks for watching and happy camping.
